Freedom from pain final lesson [Image](https://) Greetings Everyday Spy, By now, you've learned that your mind plays a bigger role in your experience of pain (and thus reality) than you realized. Today we will prove this even further with a final exercise in pain. (And if you actually did the exercises from the previous 2 emails…congrats! You're in the minority of people who are dedicated to mastering pain and increasing personal power.) This one is called the Option Test. Here are your instructions: Step 1: Fill a mixing bowl with ice and cold water 6-8 inches deep. Step 2: Prepare a stop-watch (on your phone, your computer, or your wristwatch.) Step 3: Submerge one hand/arm into the ice water and start the clock. Step 4: Stop the watch when you pull your hand out of the water. Step 5: Dry off your hand/arm and record the length of time you kept your hand underwater. Step 6: Turn on as many sensory distractions as possible: loud music, Youtube videos, audio books, white noise, etc. Step 7: Prepare your stop-watch. Step 8: Submerge your OPPOSITE hand into the ice water and start the clock. Step 9: Turn your mind to the different sensory distractions in the room with you. Step 10: Stop the watch when you pull your hand out of the water. Step 11: Write me at info@everydayspy.com and tell me how much longer you could tolerate the pain and which distraction captured most of your attention. These pain exercises show you that not only can you master pain… But that your mind has way more power than you previously thought. In the world of covert intelligence, operators can’t afford to think like everybody else. And at CIA, we learned how to [unlock mental abilities that let us see opportunities where others saw obstacles.]( If you're curious about how spies use operational thinking to make what they need to happen, you can get insider access to the same methods I learned at CIA: OPTHINK is a 10-week course consisting of video training and field tests designed to upgrade your awareness of how both you and other people think. Each module unlocks new ways to understand reality in ways few ever do. Between your new independence from pain and the mind-hacking abilities of OPTHINK, you’ll become unbreakable.
