Vance, is on electric vehicles or combating climate change.   Vance has repeatedly attacked EVs and emissions reduction. Just last year, Vance introduced legislation that would repeal all EV tax credits, instead offering a $7,500 tax credit for gas or diesel-powered vehicles. We get that Vance is an opportunist who just wants to feed the MAGA beast, but really? He wants to defund a clear climate solution and instead divert taxpayer dollars to the most polluting vehicles on the road. That is a criminally bad idea that will leave us all worse off.  Both Trump and Vance have made it clear that villainizing EVs and undermining the EV industry will be a top priority.
