Our country has faced so many challenges this year -- a global pandemic, rising economic anxiety, and a long overdue reckoning with systemic racism. I sympathize with the pain, anger, and grief that communities of color have felt this year. And that’s why I was so disappointed to see Scott Perry’s divisive comments today: {NAME}, these comments are just plain wrong, and they speak to how out of touch Scott Perry is with this district. We need a real leader who isn’t afraid to take our most difficult and pressing issues head-on -- not dismiss them as nonexistent or sensationalist. Let me be clear when I say that Scott Perry is no longer fit to lead -- he has proven that he lacks the courage to rise to the occasion and unite our community. We deserve so much better, {NAME}. That’s why my team and I are working to deliver real change and bring new leadership to South Central PA, but I can’t do it without you.
