Green also acts as camouflage and is rumored to make you invisible to the trickster leprechauns in Irish folklore. To celebrate the coming spring and this lucky time of year, we are offering a special 20% off all Erin Hanson canvas prints and textured replicas. Cheers, Team Erin Code: LUCKY20

The use of green on St. Patrick's Day began during the 1798 Irish Rebellion when the clover became a symbol of nationalism and the "wearing of the green" on lapels became a regular practice. The green soon spread to uniforms as well. About 3D Textured Replicas If you are looking for a reproduction of Erin Hanson's impressionist oil paintings, you have come to the right place! Erin Hanson's groundbreaking 3D Textured Replicas provide the texture that is necessary to experience the full impact and movement of Erin's work. Erin Hanson's limited edition 3D Textured Replicas feature: - Realistic texture and rich color saturation
- Semi-gloss varnish for UV protection
- Limited edition, restricted to 100 copies
- Luxury framing choices
- Signed and numbered by the artist
- Certificate of Authenticity Making giclees obsolete with the greatest technological leap since the colored printer, Erin Hanson's 3D Textured Replicas are the closest option to an original painting. Unlike standard prints, which employ a single ink layer, Erin's textured prints are made with 18 layers of ink, building up the texture layer by layer based on a high-resolution 3D scan of the original artwork. We use a special UV-cured ink that dries hard like acrylic paint. Each layer is half a millimeter thick, so we can meticulously build up the texture to match the exact depth of the original oil painting. Erin Hanson's 3D Textured Replicas are almost indistinguishable from the original painting from a short distance away, capturing the texture of every brushstroke and weave of the canvas, as well as the vibrant colors of the original oil painting. These are the most realistic painting reproductions available with today's 3D scanning and printing technology. Erin devoted three years to perfecting the technology of 3D art printing in a quest to create a fine art print that not only captured her vibrant colors but also reproduced the texture crucial to her artistic vision. The rhythms of texture in her luscious, impasto oil paintings communicate the movement and joy she finds in nature. U P C O M I N G

Sears Art Museum @ Utah Tech University The Sears Art Museum in St. George, Utah, is proud to host Erin Hanson's solo museum show, Landscapes of the West. This is Erin's first return to St. George since 2016. The exhibition will include thirty paintings of southern Utah and the Colorado Plateau. Hanson works in bold colors, thickly applied paint, and expressive brushwork, capturing the drama and beauty of the American West. Originally inspired by rock climbing at Red Rock Canyon, Erin Hanson has been painting the desert landscapes of southern Utah and the Colorado Plateau for the past fifteen years. She uses a limited palette of only five colors, and after pre-mixing her entire palette, she paints without overlapping her brush strokes, keeping her pieces fresh and alive with movement. Hanson’s goal when painting is to re-capture the feeling of being out-of-doors, surrounded by the wild beauty of nature. ERIN HANSON has been painting in oils since she was eight years old. As a young artist, she worked at a mural studio, creating 40-foot-tall paintings on canvas while selling art commissions on the side. After getting a degree in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley, Erin became a rock climber at Red Rock Canyon, Nevada. Inspired by the colorful scenery she was climbing, she decided to paint one painting every week for the rest of her life. She has stuck to that decision since becoming one of the most prolific artists in history. Erin Hanson's style is known as "Open Impressionism" and is now taught in art schools worldwide. With thousands of collectors eagerly anticipating her work and millions of followers online, Hanson has become an iconic driving force in the rebirth of contemporary impressionism. D A T E S
