The year took Erin on her first extensive photo safari in over four years, and 2023 was also the first year she had two museum exhibitions both dedicated to her works. 2023 marked the 10th anniversary of The Erin Hanson Gallery and the 16th anniversary of Open Impressionism. For those of you who have been following along for some time, you know what a rocket ride this has been! From Erin's first outdoor art festival in 2017 to her first solo gallery exhibition in 2012 to her first museum exhibition in 2016, we have always focused on getting Erin's beautiful artwork into the world in the most organic way possible. We hope you enjoy the compilation video above of every painting Erin Hanson created in 2023. We are so excited to start a new year! We have another busy year planned for 2024: Early March will see Erin's return to the La Quinta Celebration of Arts. This show is lauded as the top outdoor arts event in the country and is a must-visit for art lovers. Erin was their poster artist in 2018 and has a premier location at booth #346. A few days later, Erin will participate in a series of artist talks and a live painting demonstration at the Western Spirit Museum in Scottsdale, Arizona, on [March 6th and 7th](. April will kick off with a whirlwind trip across Japan to capture their world-famous cherry trees in bloom. Her [Cultivated Blooms Collection]( (releasing July 13th, 2024) will feature works from this experience. Catch your breath now because, in June, Erin will head down to St. George, Utah, for the opening of her newest museum collection, [Landscapes of the West](, on Friday, June 14th. Erin spent two weeks on the road in 2023 getting new Western inspiration for this collection. Landscapes will include Zion, Bryce, Cedar Breaks, and Arches National Park. Without skipping a beat, Erin will head to France for an experience over 100 years in the making. Erin will arrive in Paris ready to retrace the steps of the founding impressionists (with a specific focus on Monet and van Gogh). The route takes her from Paris to Giverny, through Etretat to Le Havre, through the Loire Valley into Arles and Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, and everywhere in between. Hanson will stand in the very spots where the great masters stood and be inspired by the views that captured Monet's and van Gogh's imaginations. On July 13th, we will host the opening reception for Erin's [Cultivated Blooms]( collection at her gallery/studio in the heart of Oregon Wine Country. This show will include paintings of sunflowers, iris gardens, lavender fields, flowering fruit trees, tulip fields, and more. Erin Hanson's Cultivated Blooms collection will include several paintings of Japanese cherry blossoms, inspired by her trip earlier in the spring. September 14th will mark the opening of her [Reflections of the Seine]( collection; again, celebrations will be held at The Erin Hanson Gallery in McMinnville, Oregon. This show will focus on paintings inspired by her trip to France. Mid-November takes Erin back to [La Quinta, California](for their Encore Art Celebration November 14th - 17th. The year might be winding down, but we are certainly not done! The holiday season is the busiest time of year here at the EHG. We will start the celebrations off with our annual Black Friday sale, our biggest print sale of the year. Next up is our annual holiday collection release, The Petite Show. [The Petite Show]( will take place on Saturday, December 13th, at The Erin Hanson Gallery. Erin's petite oil paintings are the perfect gift or treat for any lover of impressionism. These small canvases are masterpieces of color and light, each brushstroke a deliberate expression by the artist. Sized between 8x10 and 20x24 inches, these petites are perfect for decorating narrow walls, hallways, and guest rooms. We will launch our annual Holiday Extravaganza next, and wrap up the year with this special celebration to thank Erin's loyal fans and collectors. Whew, I think we hit most of the key things to look forward to this coming year. We look forward to sharing in the magic and excitement of the new year with you all! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for all of your love and support. None of this could be done if it weren't for you.
