Erin LOOKING BACK Erin Hanson EARLY Works Before Open Impressionism The end of the year is a good time for nostalgia. I was showing my new employees at The Erin Hanson Gallery some of my early-early works... before Open Impressionism was born, and I thought you'd enjoy seeing them too! I started painting in oils at age eight, but I didn't jump right into becoming the contemporary impressionist painter I am today. I experimented with watercolors, pen and ink, acrylics, and multi-media... from tiny 8-inch canvases to giant 40-foot murals, I tried it all. I was a realism painter, an abstract painter, a portrait painter... for a few years I only painted animals I copied from National Geographic magazines. But when I discovered the jaw-dropping landscapes of Red Rock Canyon and the Colorado Plateau, I was hooked. I knew I could paint landscapes every day for the rest of my life... and I have, pretty much, for the past fifteen years, amassing a collection of over three thousand Open Impressionism landscape paintings. I guess when you find something you love, it's easy to keep creating. Here are some of my older works, from my early days of experimenting with oils: [Behind-the-Art Blog Series]( [EXPERIENCE in PERSON]( 2 0 2 4 CALENDARS [while supplies last] [2024 Calendars]( [Shop: The 2024 Calendar Bundle]( The Erin Hanson Gallery in Oregon 1805 NE Colvin Ct McMinnville, OR 97128 (503) 334-3670 Please contact us at info@erinhanson.com for more information. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
