Weekly Update No images? [Click here]( [Erin Hanson - Landscapes in Oil]( [Woodburn Tulips]( Woodburn Tulips 24 x 30, oil on canvas Surround Yourself with Beauty Fresh from the Easel Spring feels like it is officially upon us! There are daffodils everywhere I look, and I am planting my first fruit trees. If anyone has tips for keeping deer away from the roses, let me know! I hope you enjoy my newest paintings below. Best, Erin Hanson Turquoise Foam 28 x 36, oil on canvas Swirling colors of blue and turquoise catch the afternoon light in this painting of California's coastline. The impressionistic brush strokes swirl and dance, capturing the ever-changing foam. California Colors 12 x 12, oil on linen California is beautiful during all four seasons. The sun-drenched landscape varies from burnt-yellow to apple-green, and then from ultramarine blue to royal purple into the distance. Thick brush strokes add a mosaic of texture across the canvas. Sedona Pine 9 x 12, oil on linen Sedona, Arizona, is captured in vivid hues of orange and green. An ancient pine with swirling bark stands before the distant red rock cliffs. The loose brush strokes and thickly applied oil paint add dimension and texture to the painting. Wild Red 8 x 10, oil on linen Wild red ranunculus flowers bloom with rich hues against a background of jewel-toned grass. The brush strokes create a stained-glass appearance within the oil painting. Acadia Pines 12 x 16, oil on linen Acadia National Park gleams with brilliant color as dawn approaches. The horizon glimmers with gold and yellow, while lavender clouds glide across the sky. Coastal Green 12 x 16, oil on linen Ripples of light filter through the coastal waters off Highway 1. The brush strokes are loose and impressionistic, conveying a sense of movement and life to the scene.oi9 [EXPLORE AVAILABLE ORIGINALS]( FIELD OF BLOOMS a Work in Progress [video from 2016] [The Erin Hanson Gallery]( [Facebook]([YouTube]([Instagram]([Pinterest]( The Erin Hanson Gallery 9705 Carroll Centre Road San Diego CA 92126 (858) 324-4644 Please call or text us at the number above to make an appointment at the gallery.
