I want to take a moment to give a special thank you to all of the volunteers who donated funds and supplies to the relief effort here and in southwest Florida, lent a hand to help neighbors clean up, and/or checked in on someone still recovering. In Pinellas County and across the country, we're stronger when we come together. I joined neighbors and colleagues to clean up debris in Child's Park, provide meals with Feeding Florida, and bring supplies to those hit hardest by the hurricane. These efforts are crucial to ensuring that everyone in Pinellas County can recover from the storm. But, the truth is, team, Republicans are failing to help Florida from severe weather events like Hurricane Ian, and we suffered because of it. 16 Florida Republicans just voted against a law that would have allowed FEMA to be fully funded for disaster aid. We need Representatives in Congress who vote to protect their community and their constituents, not their special interests. [That's exactly why I'm running for Congress – to hold our representatives accountable and do everything in my power to protect our community from future hurricanes and severe weather events. Will you chip in $10 or more to help my team continue our progress in the fight against a GOP win in 2022?]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your secure donation will go through immediately: [CHIP IN $10 NOW →]( [CHIP IN $25 NOW →]( [CHIP IN $50 NOW →]( [CHIP IN $100 NOW →]( [Or, sign up to give weekly.]( Thank you for your support, team. – Eric Lynn, Democratic Nominee for FL-13 Eric Lynn is a former Senior Advisor to President Obama, national security expert, small business owner, community advocate, and St. Petersburg Native who is ready to lead Pinellas County forward.
