you need to hear this information asap  Don't Want My Email Tips Anymore? [Click here to unsubscribe](  In my last email I showed you a simple example of a tax sale. Here are the details again. The money from the investor pays off the tax lien but there is almost always money left over. A lot of money. Here’s a simple example: Let’s say someone didn’t pay taxes for 3 years and that they owed roughly $22,000 in back taxes and penalties on a $200,000 property. The property goes to auction and an investor "steals" it for $100,000. With me so far? The government uses $22,000 to pay off the taxes leaving $78,000. The question that launched me into the stratosphere in my investing career was: "What happens to all that excess money collected at the Tax Sale?" In this example, what happens to that $78,000? Legally, that money is due to the original property owner. But, here’s where it gets sticky. If that money (called an Overage) isn’t claimed properly by the previous owner within a certain time frame then… THE GOVERNMENT GETS TO KEEP EVERY RED CENT OF IT! This becomes a "slush fund" for them. It means they don’t look as bad when they blow their budget. It means they can get more done without raising taxes. It means the homeowner, who really needs it, gets shoved aside, ignored and, quite frankly, ROBBED! Naturally, these bureaucrats are in NO hurry to send these overage checks out to the owners. So all that money sits there piling up with each sale – about $14M EACH DAY all across the US. The owners of these auctioned properties usually have no idea it is due them. And, the government has no real interest in getting it to them. But, legally (and, in my opinion, ethically) that money is DUE those owners. This is where you come in. You can prevent this travesty for the former homeowner who could certainly use that money. It’s an amazing opportunity for an enterprising individual who knows how to navigate the system… …someone who doesn’t mind filling out forms, sending emails and making a few phone calls could make quite a bit of money by… HELPING THE LITTLE GUY AND KEEPING THE GOVERNMENT HONEST!
