Covid opened the doors to so much opportunity and was a catalyst for much of the change we are seeing in the Creator Economy right now. Short answer, if you own an online business and are using the innerwebs' to attract your person to you, YOU ARE A CONTENT CREATOR! The definition of a content creator is someone who makes and provides content for digital channels, such as websites and social media, that targets a specific audience. Content creators are creating blogs, images for social, video, podcast/audio, emails, posts for social media. Is the Content Creator NEW?
Content creators and content marketing has been around a long time. But, it’s become a new catch phrase recently because of the influx of all these new people, which is why the opportunity is so rich right now. PLUS: It proves that content marketing can be monetized as there are literally millions of people in the creator economy who ARE monetizing their passion. But here’s the thing and where I see the opportunity… Content creators are struggling because: - They have no idea how to price their influence
- They don’t know how to pitch and work with a brand
- They have no authority page
- They don’t have a lead gen in place
- In many cases, they don’t have anything to sell outside of their influence
- They don’t have a sales funnel in place, etc. There are almost 48 million content entrepreneurs who aren't making $10k or more a month! Where this is a need, there is a need to be filled!

Community Building: Did you know that an audience and a community are very different things? An audience is a group of people who see your content. For example, a creator talks to a group of people. My take: Always strive for community over audience building. People who feel they are a part of something have longer sticking power.

My take: This could be awesome for collaborations with others and especially for those that have brand deals! Ă‚ Ă‚ Content Spotlight: Ă‚ Keeping it realz about content...it's TOUGH out there these days! Getting people to stop the scroll and pay attention can be difficult at best and sometimes feel absolutely impossible...especially on our Facebook Business pages! #AmIRight
