Julie is a parent, educator, lawyer, former Stanford dean, and an author. If elected, she would be the first openly LGBTQ+ Black woman elected to Congress. - Luz Maria Rivas (CA-29) is an engineer, educator, and public servant from the San Fernando Valley running to fill an open seat. She's served in the California State Legislature since 2018, where her priority has been to uplift and empower underrepresented communities. - State senator and practicing OB-GYN Kelly Morrison (MN-03) is running for an open seat. She's focused on expanding the progress that Minnesota has made on abortion rights. As a physician, she knows how important it is that medical decisions are made between patients and their doctors — not the government.
