Make no mistake: this is yet another way the GOP is trying to destroy our bodily autonomy — and we won't stand for it. We can replace Republican bigots with Democratic pro-choice women nationwide. Please, donate today to help elect women who will PROTECT our rights: [CONTRIBUTE]( Friend, we are appalled by the Republicans' recent attacks on our trans family and friends. Since the beginning of 2023 alone, at least 566 bills have been introduced across 49 states with the intent to block trans people from accessing health care, education, or legal recognition, and even from simply existing in public spaces without fear. Of these nearly 600 pieces of legislation, 83 have been successfully passed and 358 remain active in their respective legislative chambers. After years of calculated attacks on our reproductive freedom, it should come as no surprise that GOP lawmakers are using bigotry, inflammatory rhetoric, and dangerous (and baseless) fear tactics to justify anti-trans legislation. It's all the same agenda: to destroy our bodily autonomy. [So please, stand with EMILYs List and donate now to support Democratic pro-choice candidates who will FIGHT BACK against Republican extremism.]( If you have saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your contribution will go through immediately. [DONATE $15]( [DONATE $35]( [DONATE $50]( [DONATE $100]( [DONATE $250]( [DONATE ANOTHER AMOUNT]( So here's the good news: EMILYs List-endorsed women like Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in Michigan, Reps. Jennifer McClellan (VA-04) and Jahana Hayes (CT-05), and Sens. Mazie Hirono (HI) and Elizabeth Warren (MA) are already fighting back. From enshrining trans civil rights to providing legal means to pursue protections from discrimination, Democratic pro-choice women know how essential it is to protect choice and autonomy — and that's why we need their voices in office now more than ever. EMILYs List endorses Democratic pro-choice candidates who will fight for all of us. Donate to help elect and reelect candidates who can stop vicious GOP extremism in its tracks: [( Thank you, the EMILYs List team [CONTRIBUTE]( [CONTRIBUTE MONTHLY]( EMILYs List is a community of over five million members that helps elect Democratic pro-choice women to office.
