We're fired up to elect Democratic pro-choice women. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ [EMILYs List]( Friend, It's clear as day that Democrats are more fired up than ever to elect pro-choice women. We've seen Democratic pro-choice women defeat Republicans nationwide, and state leaders are fighting hard to pass pro-choice ballot measures. I've seen this kind of grassroots energy before — back in 1992. That was the year EMILYs List grew our membership by 600% and elected four new women to the Senate and 20 to the House. It quickly became known as the "Year of the Woman." Well, guess what? I think 2024 is about to be the "Year of the Woman" all over again. [Americans everywhere overwhelmingly agree with our pro-choice values — no doubt about it. We just need more resources to recruit, train, and support candidates to make those values into policy. So I'm personally asking: Will you chip in to support EMILYs List right now?]( I've seen a lot as the founder of EMILYs List. We were a much smaller organization in 1991, when the Supreme Court nomination hearings began for Clarence Thomas. Women across the country were fed up with anti-choice extremists like Thomas, but they were also inspired to get involved and demand better representation. Today, it's been over a year since Clarence Thomas and the ultraconservative Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and obliterated national abortion rights. Fourteen states have banned abortion — and women across the country are enraged. But I know that, much like we did in 1992, we can turn our anger into action to elect more Democratic pro-choice women than ever. I know we can make 2024 another "Year of the Woman," friend. I know we can protect the Senate majority by electing candidates like Angela Alsobrooks, Elissa Slotkin, and Tammy {NAME}, and send pro-choice champions like Yadira Caraveo, Liz Gereghty, and Lauren Underwood to take back the House — but we need your help. So that's why I'm asking: will you donate to help elect Democratic pro-choice women and restore abortion access across the country? [( Thank you for being with EMILYs List in this fight, Ellen R.
