Either one would be a complete disaster for America if elected (or reelected). There's not much I could say about these two — a racist, misogynistic former president who is under current criminal indictment, and a far-right extremist governor hellbent on proving his conservative bonafides by attacking his most vulnerable constituents — that hasn't been said already. They're all over the news, along with their dangerous, hateful rhetoric. But what I can say is this: as long as these two powerful Republican men have a far-reaching national platform, we need to be recruiting, supporting, and electing women leaders who can speak out against them, limit their power, and protect our rights — regardless of what happens at the ballot box. This is a scary juncture in American political history, and we've never needed Democratic pro-choice women in office more than we do right now.
