And with Florida's six-week abortion ban now in effect, women here face some of the most extreme barriers to abortion care in our country. Six weeks is before most women even know they are pregnant. Patients must also make two separate trips to obtain care, and they are forced to get ultrasounds even if they're not medically necessary.
