This is a devastating and draconian decision, and it's being celebrated by anti-choice extremists who want to systematically dismantle reproductive freedom and access to lifesaving health care in Arizona. My opponent David Schweikert has been one of the most vocal anti-abortion, anti-woman Republicans in Congress. He co-sponsored the "Life at Conception Act" (six times!) and supported a national abortion ban. He declared he was "pleased" with the overturning of Roe v. Wade. The list goes on.
