Want more sales in 2022? Do this ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ "What's the ONE Thing you can do, such that by doing it, everything else will be easier or unnecessary?" - Gary Keller Hi there, In my +15 years as an online business owner, I’ve learned many lessons along the way... And here's the main one I want to share with you today: One is never to rely 100% on external traffic sources, like Google or Facebook ads. You can never predict when your accounts could get shut down for the smallest accidental policy violation. (trust me... I speak from experience 😓) So you might think "having multiple traffic sources is the one thing every entrepreneur must have." Well that’s true, but if we're talking about 'multiple traffic sources' then it's not really a "ONE Thing". The most powerful ‘ONE Thing’ that any business owner can possess is an email list because it helps you win the trust of your audience… and that gives them the confidence to purchase from you. When I had this realization, I had a business that was 100% reliant on Adwords (now known as Google Ads) - which was far too risky to be sustainable. After my entire business collapsed due to a policy violation, I gave myself 6 months to figure out a better way of doing things and jumped on a plane to Sydney, Australia. I tried all kinds of things, but none came close to being nearly as successful as Adwords had been in my business. Until I decided to build an email list. Initially, to build my list, I decided to give away a WordPress plugin as an opt-in incentive. I was ecstatic to get my first few thousand subscribers from this plugin. Maybe I was on to something! That’s when I decided to go all in, and offer my first subscribers a pro version of my plugin. I had never made an offer by email before, and really didn’t know what I was doing. In fact, I had already packed up my office, ready to leave Sydney and return to the Netherlands, when I sent out my first email offering the pro version. In just minutes, I heard the "Ping 🔔" of a sale notification hitting my phone. Followed by another, and another, and another . . . People were actually buying my plugin… and I hadn’t spent a dime on traffic! So from this point on, I knew that building an email list was the ONE Thing to do to create a sustainable business. Because I didn’t have to: - Be constantly churning out new ad creatives - Pay for traffic - Spend a single sleepless night worrying what would happen if my ad account got shut down. So I started studying ways to build my list even faster. Then I read about how cloud-storage giant Dropbox grew to a staggering 50 million subscribers in less than a year. The way Dropbox did it was by incentivizing their subscribers with additional free storage to get their friends to sign up for the service using their own unique referral link.  That was my big "a-ha!" moment! Now I knew how to attract the people who wanted what I offered… Without the tire kickers who subscribed to my list only to unsubscribe the minute they claimed my opt-in incentives. In no time flat, I used this hybrid of email marketing and referral marketing to grow my list from zero to over 15,000 subscribers. And that’s the inspiration behind why I created UpViral (my referral email marketing software) 7 years ago today 🎉 My passion is to help other entrepreneurs build their email lists with referral marketing. Because I’m convinced this is the way for businesses to quickly build their email list and build their online presence - fast. If you’re tired of relying on "iffy" ad networks for traffic… And you’re tired of subscribers who only sign up to your list to claim your gifts then disappear forever… Then maybe it’s time to try something different. Can the 57 million leads my customers have generated with the help of UpViral’s magic be wrong? I invite you to find out for yourself. Until Sunday you’ll score deep discounted pricing and special bonuses with UpViral's 7th Year Anniversary offer.
