Want to create a great ad - here’s help! Hey there, Did you know that a single winning ad can literally change your business overnight? That’s what this ad did for me. 👇 This ad was posted on July 11, 2018 which is like an eternity in Facebook years. As you can see, it received 959 comments, 881 shares, and +9K positive reactions... ... and that's only scratching the surface! (I've duplicated the same ad countless times - it's generated 10M+ views and millions in revenue to date 🔥) And yes, it’s still running! Like clockwork 🕰️ So what’s important here? - Create an ad that doesn’t look like an obvious ad - people want to be entertained and educated on Facebook, not blatantly sold to - Write evergreen ads with wide appeal - make sure the ad will still be relevant a year or two from now - Create the right ad for the right audience. For example, story-based ads work best for cold audiences, but you should be more direct with a retargeting ad - Do what you can to increase conversions from the start. Speaking of that, here’s a simple trick I do to make my ads convert better. 😉 I use the attention-grabbing features of a meme to get more video views and click-throughs. And it’s really quite simple to do! Step #1 - Create your canvas Inside your video editor, create a canvas with a black background that’s 1520 x 1896 pixels. Size is important, as you’ll see in just a minute. Step #2 - Drag your video into the middle of your canvas When Facebook shows videos (especially on mobile) they are quite small. By adding your video to the larger canvas, it makes your video ad appear much larger than it normally would. Here’s what I mean 👇 Step #3 - Create your headline Above your video, add a headline that creates curiosity. I like to make my headline a question to grab even more attention. Use a bold font, as it’s easier to read on mobile. You can experiment with different font colors to see which one brings the best results. Step #4 - Add emojis I go to Google and find a few emojis to indicate shock or surprise 😮 😲 🤯 Hint: Emojipedia.com is a great place to find emojis. Then I add them to the canvas, directly under the video. (I resize them to show up better). Here’s a screenshot so you can get a better idea of what the finished product looks like. You can add subtitles to your video, but it isn’t necessary. This simple meme tactic has 3x’d my Facebook ad results - so be sure to try it! 👌 To your success, Wilco P.S. On Tuesday I’m going to show you how to find your winning ad.
