The original proposal, approved both by the Oklahoma City Economic Development Trust and the Oklahoma City Council, provides for $3 million in incentives to be paid to Costco in exchange for creating an operations center with average annual wages totaling $60,000 in three years. The amended proposal increases the hiring to 1,503 jobs over five to seven years, with about 1,000 to still be hired within the first three years.
