Let's get ready to trade! S&P 500 contracts are currently up by less than 0.1%. [Hedge Funds are Devouring These Stocks]( Which stocks are major institutional investors, including hedge funds, buying now? Revelation made the move to comply with Nasdaq’s minimum bid price requirement, but the stock fluctuated wildly after it was announced. REVB is up 64.8% on nearly a million shares traded in the premarket, and it’s seen notable spikes in trading volume over the past four trading sessions. My Take: Don’t be fooled by the higher share price, REVB is a micro-float stock with a market cap of only $2 million. Buckle up if you’re gonna chase this one because it could be a wild ride. Spectral AI [MDAI] - Last Close: $2.71 Shares of MDAI are extending their Friday gains with another big rally in today’s premarket. Last week, BTIG initiated Spectral AI as a “buy” with a $4 price target, and the company filed for a registered offering of over 4 million shares. MDAI began to sell-off after the offering announcement, but shares rebounded to a 35.5% gain on Friday. Today, MDAI is up 24.7% on 2.3 million shares traded. My Take: Technicals appear to be driving MDAI’s rally, as there’s no obvious news catalyst to explain this move. The $3 mark could prove to be a crucial support level for this stock if it holds onto its gains. OneMedNet [ONMD] - Last Close: $0.5108 Healthcare tech stock OneMedNet is leading the premarket after announcing its participation at the 15th annual SCOPE Summit next month. SCOPE, or the Summit for Clinical Ops Executives, will be held Feb. 11th through 14th in Orlando, FL. OneMedNet said its presentation at the summit will focus on generating & leveraging real-world data for clinical and observational research. ONMD is up 158.4% on more than 16.5 million shares traded. My Take: As of Friday’s close, ONMD is up 16.0% over the past five days, and it’s been trending higher since bottoming at 42-cents last week. Connexa Sports [CNXA] - Last Close: $0.1545 This sporting goods firm is reversing course this morning after posting losses in every trading session last week. On Jan. 24th, Connexa announced new securities purchase agreements with accredited investors that totaled 2.3 million shares of stock and warrants. However, the news didn’t appear to have a significant impact on the stock, and shares continued to edge lower to close out the week. CNXA is one of this morning’s top stocks, with a 56.4% gain on upwards of 22 million shares traded. My Take: CNXA has a microscopic micro-cap of about $530K, and there’s no news to support this move, so there’s a chance this could be a pump & dump. Be careful. That's it for today! Thanks for reading, and good luck out there! Best Regards, — Chris D.
