Now, let's get ready to trade! Markets 📈 Stocks continued their march higher on Tuesday, with small-caps outperforming their large-cap cohorts. - S&P 500 [+0.5%] - Dow [+0.6%] - Nasdaq [+0.6%] - Russell 2K [+1.9%] Futures are ticking lower in early trading. S&P 500 contracts are currently showing a 0.2% decline. Sponsored [The Digital Nightmare Has Begun!]( The FedNow digital payment system just went LIVE and it's a lot scarier than you may think! The new digital payment system from the Federal Reserve (you know, the may have the power to control who gets paid… What you spend your money on, or just cut out people from the financial system completely. The pressing issue of a digital dollar here in the U.S.A. has now taken a step closer to reality. The good news...you still have time to protect yourself, if you act fast. [Get Your Digital Dollar Game Plan on the NEXT PAGE >>]( Premarket Highlights 🔎 🇬🇧 UK Inflation Eases, Prompting Market Speculation In a welcome turn of events, the U.K.'s inflation rate dropped to 3.9% in November, marking the lowest annual rate since September 2021 and surpassing economists' expectations. This decline was significantly lower than the anticipated 4.4% and below October's 4.6% reading, which itself was a two-year low. 📉 Monthly CPI Falls: On a month-to-month basis, the headline consumer price index (CPI) decreased by 0.2%, contradicting the forecasted 0.1% increase. 📊 Core CPI Below Expectations: Core CPI, which excludes volatile elements like food, energy, alcohol, and tobacco, reported an annual rate of 5.1%, well under the predicted 5.6%. 🏦 Impact on Monetary Policy: The larger-than-expected fall in inflation has fueled speculation that the Bank of England might cut interest rates in 2024. This speculation led to a noticeable decrease in British bond yields. 🔍 Bond and Stock Market Movements: The yield on the U.K.'s 10-year gilt hit an eight-month low, falling 11 basis points to around 3.54%. Remember, bond yields and prices have an inverse relationship. In the stock market, the FTSE 100 stood out as the only major European index in the green, climbing 0.8% in mid-morning trading. 📝 Key Contributors to Inflation Fall: The Office for National Statistics attributed the most significant downward pressures to sectors such as transport, recreation and culture, and food and non-alcoholic beverages. This unexpected easing in inflation has shifted market dynamics and expectations in the U.K., hinting at possible changes in the Bank of England's approach to interest rates in the near future. What to Watch Today 👀 Home Sales The real estate market could be a crucial area to monitor in the coming months. Mortgage rates have cooled somewhat, but low inventories continue to be a problem in most of the country. Today’s existing home sales report could provide some insights into the where the market stands. Featured Earnings 💲 - General Mills [GIS] ... AM - Toro Company [TTC] ... Shareholder Jerald Hammann authored the filing and encouraged other investors who are interesting in discussing investment objectives to contact him. The disclosure came shortly after Polished announced the date of its 2024 annual shareholder meeting. POL is one of this morning’s top movers with a 108.4% gain on 12.2 million shares traded. My Take: POL had an 11.89% short percentage as of Nov. 30th, so this move could be the result of a short squeeze. Applied UV [AUVI] - Last Close: $1.83 The tiny sanitation tech stock is trending after executing a reverse stock split early last week. On December 12th, Applied UV effected a 1-for-25 reverse stock split of its shares, after initially announcing the measure on Dec. 8th. AUVI jumped 21.1% on Tuesday while experiencing a major spike in volume during the trading session. This morning, its extending its advanced with an 18.0% gain on nearly 4 million shares traded. My Take: AUVI has experienced a long, drawn-out slide over the past six months, but its recent gains could be a sign that the drawndown could be bottoming out. ParaZero [PRZO] - Last Close: $0.7001 This morning, the drone safety systems company said it successfully completed its drone safety project with an unnamed Fortune 500 automotive manufacturer. According to an early morning press release, ParaZero completed the development of a safety solution for the automakers proprietary drone program. ParaZero also revealed that it has received its second purchase order from the Fortune 500 customer a few months ago. The news lifted PRZO to a 42.8% move in today’s premarket, on more than 10 million shares traded. My Take: PRZO saw some action when it first hit the market, but it’s been quiet lately. I like this company and their business model, but the technicals don’t look great at this point. Aclarion [ACON] - Last Close: $0.29 The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office has awarded the company a new U.S. patent for “MR SPECTROSCOPY SYSTEM FOR DIAGNOSING PAINFUL AND NON-PAINFUL INTERVERTEBRAL DISCS (Severe Low Back Pain).” The company shared the news in an announcement after Thursday’s close, and shares immediately got a boost from the news. So far, details are pretty scarce, but investors like what they’re hearing. Shares of ACON are up 55.9% on 20.3 million shares traded. My Take: ACON has experienced a huge volume boost in the past 24 hours, so this move could have momentum behind it. That's it for today! Thanks for reading, and good luck out there!
