It's Chris from Elite Trade Club, here to give you this morning's premarket trading news. Today is Wednesday, November 15th. I hope you have a great day in the market. Now, let's get ready to trade! Markets 📈 Stocks rallied on Tuesday following an encouraging October CPI report. The Nasdaq jumped 2.3%, while the S&P 500 rallied 1.9%, and the Dow added 1.4%. The small-cap Russell 2K outperformed with a huge 5.4% rally. Futures are on the rise in early trading. S&P 500 contracts are currently up by 0.4%. Sponsored [3 Top S&P 500 Stocks to Buy for 2024]( After a rough outing in 2022, 2023 has been explosive. In fact, since the year began, major indices, like the S&P 500 are up about 15% year to date. Heading into New Year 2024, things could get even better. That said, here are three "no-brainer" stocks to consider. [Click Here to Download the FREE Report]( Premarket Highlights 🔎 🛒 Retail Sales on Deck Yesterday’s CPI report started a big rally, and today’s retail sales report has potential to throw more fuel on the fire. Here’s what to expect when the latest numbers drop at 8:30 a.m. ET: 🎯 Low Expectations Economists estimate the U.S. retail sales fell 0.2% in October. If they’re right, it would be a substantial reversal from September’s 0.7% gain and the first monthly decline for my retail sales since March. 🚗 Auto Sales Slump  Analysts also say weak auto sales that may weigh on the top-line spending figure. Consensus estimates call for flat growth in dealership purchases, down from a 0.6% gain in September. Keep an eye out for this report because it could set the tone for the What to Watch Today 👀 Will the Rally Continue? Stocks got a big boost on Tuesday, after October’s CPI report signaled that U.S. inflation may be beginning to pull back to baseline levels. Investors are hoping the latest data will give the Federal Reserve reason to ease off its rate hiking campaign, but only time will tell whether it’s wishful thinking. However, the market seems to have its heart set on no more rate hikes, so we could see a major correction if the Fed enacts another hike before year-end. Major Earnings 💰 - PTJX Companies [TJX] ... The retail giant reported its Q3 earnings this morning, and the results exceeded Wall Street’s expectations. Target earnings jumped by a whopping 36% compared to the previous year, coming in at $2.10 per share and crushing the $1.48 EPS consensus Revenues came in at $25.4 billion and narrowly beat the Street’s $25.24 billion estimate. TGT is leading the S&P 500 with a 13.1% gain in the premarket. My Take: TGT returned to form in Q3, and today’s bump could be the catalyst it needs to pivot into an up-trend. Kinnate Biopharma [KNTE] - Last Close: $1.57 The Smart Money is taking an interest in Kinnate Biopharma. A Form SC 13D/A filing published late Tuesday revealed that Foresite Capital Fund V has amassed a 20.5% ownership stake in the tiny biotech firm. Another filing published minutes earlier revealed OrbiMed Advisors LLC and affiliates had amassed a 26.1% position in the company. The rush of private money into this stock sparked a big rally in today’s premarket. KNTE is currently up 33.1% on active trading volume. My Take: These funds could be making a power move to take KNTE private, which could mean a buyout deal will be announced sometime in the future. Chemomab Therapeutics [CMMB] - Last Close: $0.61 A regulatory ruling is rallying shares of Chemomab Therapeutics. The tiny biotech firm’s CM-101 drug candidate received a fast-track designation from the FDA for the treatment of primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). PSC is a fibrotic liver disease that can result in liver transplant, cancer and early death. A company press release said, “Programs with Fast Track designation can benefit from early and more frequent interactions with the FDA during the clinical development process. “Therapeutic candidates with Fast Track designation may also be eligible for priority review and accelerated approval if supported by clinical data.” CEO Adi Mor said, “This FDA Fast Track designation is an important validation of CM-101's potential to have a major impact on this devastating disease.” CMMB is leading the premarket with a 47.1% gain on active trading volume. My Take: CMMB is coming off slump, so this rally is a little more pronounced than you would expect given the news. I think it will take more than a fast-track designation to get this stock back on track. Heart Test Laboratories [HSCS] - Last Close: $0.1799 Heart Test Laboratories is running hot after a recent announcement. Monday morning, the tiny firm said its MyoVista® wavECGTM was chosen by Cardiact Ltd. to be used in a heart screening program for Irish police officers. Cardiact is responsible for administering the tests, which will be made available to members of Ireland’s Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors (“AGSI”). Heart Test Labs said Cardiact has purchased a MyoVista device and placed an initial supply order for 2,400 patient tests. HSCS gained 16.0% on Tuesday, and it’s still running hot this morning. Shares are up 28.4% in early trading. My Take: HSCS is as absurdly small float stock. Be prepared to wrestle with volatility if you want to go down this rabbit hole. That's it for today!
