Good Morning! Hey, there! It's Chris from Elite Trade Club, here to give you this morning's premarket trading news. Today is Tuesday, October 24th. I hope you have a great weekend. Now, let's get ready to trade! Markets 📈 U.S. indexes fell on Monday, except for the Nasdaq, which gained 0.2%. The Dow lost a half-point, while the S&P 500 edged lower by 0.1%, and the Russell 2K closed with a 0.8% decline. Today, futures are pulling ahead in early trading. S&P 500 contracts are up by half a point. Sponsored [The Little Guy Can Finally Take On Wall Street]( For years, Wall Street's been using A.I. to gain an edge. What's Behind the Move? So, why is Bitcoin lighting up like a Christmas tree? Look no further than the chatter around spot Bitcoin ETFs. Market insiders are taking BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust's recent listing by the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation as a hopeful sign for ETF approval. Déjà Vu? This takes us back to May 2022 vibes, before the crypto world faced a series of unfortunate events, including stablecoin crashes and hedge fund meltdowns. These scandals shook investor confidence and prompted a global call for tighter regulation. Final Thoughts While the wild world of crypto remains unpredictable, the excitement around potential ETFs could be the nudge Bitcoin needed to reclaim its past glory. Just remember, when it comes to crypto, it's always wise to buckle up for the ride. What to Watch Today 👀 Earnings Week in Full Swing It's a huge day for earnings, with reports from Coca-Cola, Verizon, and GE before the opening bell. We'll also hear from tech titans Microsoft and Google after the close, as well as Visa. You could gain a lot of valuable macroeconomic insights from perusing these quarterly reports, so keep an eye on their results. Major Earnings 💰 Coca-Cola Company [KO] ... This morning, the company released its Q3 results, and the numbers surpassed analysts' expectations. RTX beat the Street's consensus EPS target of $1.22 by earning $1.25 per share in Q3, but Revenues of $13.46 billion fell short of the $18.20 billion consensus. However, RTX also raised its full-year earnings outlook and announced a $10 billion accelerated share repurchase program. RTX is leading the S&P 500 with an 8.3% gain on active trading volume. My Take: WBA's chart shows prices may have just come off a double-bottom, a technical pattern which often precedes a major rebound. Volume has also been elevated over the past few weeks. Keep an eye on this one. Bridger Aerospace [BAER] - Last Close: $4.06 Bridger Aerospace is rallying after an early-morning announcement. Minutes ago, the company terminated a previously-announced public offering of 15 million shares of its common stock. The offering was originally announced on October 17th, but management concluded the current market conditions were not suitable for an offering. Shares of BAER are up 29.3% on the news. My Take: BEAR had a nice run in Sept. before crashing back to earth this month. I expect some resistance around $4.50, but it could have great upside if it can break through. LianBio [LIAN] - Last Close: $1.39 LainBio is surging after announcing a blockbuster deal. The Chinese biotech announced a new deal with Bristol Myers Squibb for exclusive rights to develop and commercialize mavacamten in Asia. According to the press release, the deal includes licensing rights for Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore, and Thailand. LianBio will receive a one-time payment of $350 million under the terms of the deal, and its board of directors will conduct a strategic review. Shares of LIAN are up 82.7% in early trading, and it's currently this morning's top premarket performer. My Take: Chinese stocks are always tricky, but LIAN could be the real deal. I'm not calling it a "buy" just yet, but this deal puts it on my watchlist. InMed Pharmaceuticals [INM] - Last Close: $0.58 Clinical data is giving InMed Pharma a huge premarket boost. The tiny pharma firm said INM-901 demonstrated unique pharmacological effects in a preclinical proof-of-concept study in Alzheimer's patients. The news broke just moments ago, and details are still scant, but shares are already beginning to take off in response to the report. INM is one of this morning's top premarket stocks, with a 55.9% gain in early trading. My Take: Sorry for the scant details here, but this is a developing story. The news just broke, and INM is taking off quickly. I couldn't get my hands on the full press. That's it for today! Thanks for reading, and good luck out there!
