Good Morning! Hey, there! It's Chris from Elite Trade Club, here to give you this morning's premarket trading news. Today is Wednesday, September 6th. I hope you have a great day in the market. Now, let's get ready to trade! Markets 📈 Yesterday, U.S. stocks closed the first session of a holiday-shortened trading week with losses. The Dow lost a half-point, while the Dow trailed close behind with a 0.4% decline. The Nasdaq closed just south of flat, and the Russell 2K sold off for a 2.1% loss. Today, futures are down again in early trading. Both Dow and S&P 500 contracts are showing 0.2% losses. Sponsored [This tiny stock could skyrocket... 🚀]( An under-the-radar company is pulling ahead in a lucrative market thanks to an epic expansion push that could deliver huge windfalls for shareholders. This tiny stock boasts an impressive social following and a vast stable of influencers that could fuel success for years to come. After quietly completing its IPO just last month, this stock is beginning to demand the market attention, and rumor has it the "Smart Money" is circling. A big move could be coming soon, so check out this in-depth research report now and make your play before you miss out. [Get all the details here (ticker included)]( Premarket Highlights 🔎 🛢 Diesel Spikes After OPEC+ Production Cuts Yesterday, Saudi Arabia and Russia said they would extend previously-announced voluntary production cuts until the end of the year. Since May, when Saudi Arabia and several other OPEC+ members initially announced cuts, diesel prices are up by more than 40% in the U.S. and Europe. Oil prices could continue to experience upward pressure in light of this recent announcement. Diesel prices could be especially vulnerable, which could increase transportation costs for both businesses and consumers. What to Watch Today 👀 Quiet Day There's nothing on today's calendar that's really grabbing my attention. I am most interested in the market's general performance as we head into the fourth quarter. It will be interesting to see if the wave of positive investor sentiment that rallied stocks in late August will continue, especially with all the widespread economic uncertainty sweeping many parts of the globe. Late Tuesday, it reported fiscal Q1 results that surpassed analysts' expectations by a wide margin. AeroVironment swung to a profit of $1.00 per share from a loss of $(0.08) per share a year earlier. Consensus estimates called for $0.30 EPS. Revenues for the quarter hit $152.3 million, crushing the consensus of $131 million. AeroVironment also hiked its full-year revenue forecast in light of the strong quarter. AVAV is one of today's top movers with a 16.0% gain. My Take: AVAV suffered a big pullback yesterday, so this move may be exaggerated by the correction. Regardless, this tactical robotics stock is interesting, and I'm adding it to my watchlist. System1 [SST] - Last Close: $1.84 System1 just received a lucrative buy out offer. This morning, the company announced the receipt of a non-binding indication of interest from Just Develop It Ltd. for its Total Security unit. Under the terms of the deal, Just Develop It would pay $240 million in cash and assume certain potential earnings payouts for Total Security. Just Develop It would also deliver 29 million shares of System1 that are currently held by the company and "related persons". The System1 board has formed a special committee to consider the offer. Shares of SST are up 26.6% in response to the buyout proposal. My Take: SST has had a rough year, but it was trading for close to $5 per share in June. This deal could help it get back on the right track, if the board decides to pull the trigger. NeuBase Therapeutics [NBSE] - Last Close: $1.15 NeuBase Therapeutics continues to run hot after a Friday announcement. Last week, a Form 3 filing revealed Symetryx Corp. had taken a 13.8% stake in the micro-cap biotech firm. The news sparked a 22.6% rally in shares of NBSE yesterday, and the stock continued to run hot at the close. NBSE is currently up 19.1% in premarket trading. My Take: NBSE may be bottoming out. Its chart shows what could be a double bottom in August, which may signal a potential pivot point. There could be a swing trade opportunity here. Trevena [TRVN] - Last Close: $0.8751 A promising clinical data release is boosting shares of Trevena. This morning, the company reported preliminary topline data from two Phase 1 proof-of-concept studies evaluating key aspects of TRV045. According to the release, TRV045 demonstrated statistically significant analgesic effect in a model of neuropathic pain in a target engagement POC study. The company also said the TMS POC part of the study noted "Statistically Significant Evidence of CNS Activity of TRV045 on Day 4". No drug-related discontinuations have been reported, but the company it expects to release full safety and tolerability data sometime in Q4. TRVN is leading the premarket with a 29.1% gain in response to the upbeat drug data release. My Take: This is good news for TRVN, but TRV045 still has a long way to go to reach full approval. Don't get caught up trying to chase down this tiny biotech stock. That's it for today! Thanks for reading, and good luck out there! Best Regards, Chris D. -- Elite Trade Club P.S...
