Good Morning! Hey, there! It's Chris from Elite Trade Club, here to give you this morning's premarket trading news. Today is Tuesday, August 22nd. I hope you have a great trading session. Now, let's get ready to trade! Markets 📈 The Nasdaq rallied 1.5% on Monday, while the S&P 500 added a half-point. The Dow and Russell 2K slid to matching 0.1% losses. Futures are on the rise in early trading for the second day in a row. S&P 500 contracts are up by nearly half a point. Sponsored [The Next Big Break Out? 🚀]( This tiny company is quickly making a name for itself in one of the world's most lucrative industries. It boasts an impressive combination of strong leadership, innovative tech, and an incredible market opportunity. Best of all, a major catalyst could be coming around the corner that will send share prices skyrocketing. [Get the Details Here (Ticker INCLUDED)]( Premarket Highlights 🔎 ⚪ None. So far, it's a relatively quiet premarket with no major news to report. What to Watch Today 👀 Retail Earnings Today, we'll get quarterly reports from several prominent retailers, including Lowe's and Macy's. These companies' bottom lines are largely dependent on discretionary spending, so it will be interesting to see how they performed last quarter. Major Earnings 💰 Lowe's Companies, Inc. [LOW] ... Investor sentiment is shifting on the EV stock, and its recent slide may have already bottomed out. TSLA gained 7.3% on Monday, despite no major news to explain the move, and the rally is continuing this morning. Once again, there are no major headlines to report this morning, but TSLA is still running hot. TSLA is leading the S&P 500 with a 4.3% gain. My Take: TSLA is beginning to look pretty attractive, and it could be entering a new positive swing. Bullish. MIND Technology [MINDP] - Last Close: $8.06 MIND Technology just announced an asset sale. This morning, the company said it would sell its Klein unit to General Oceans for $11.5 million. Under the terms of the deal, MIND will license its Spectral AI to General Oceans for certain applications. MIND and General Oceans have also signed a collaboration agreement for the development of AI and other software. The transaction has already closed as of Monday. MINDP is a top performer with a 30.2% gain. My Take: MINDP's recent slide is also beginning to look like it may have hit the bottom. Fulcrum Therapeutics [FULC] - Last Close: $3.92 A regulatory update is boosting shares of Fulcrum Therapeutics. This morning, the biotech firm said the FDA had lifted a clinical hold on its FTX-6058 drug candidate. The decision clears the way to resume clinical trials evaluating FTX-6058 as a sickle cell disease treatment. Fulcrum CEO Alex Sapir said the company is pleased with the FDA's decision, and they're eager to advance the drug. FULC is one of today's top stocks with a 46.6% gain. My Take: FULC faced some resistance at the $4 mark prior to this news, but I think this rally will help it smash through into a new trading range. ProMIS Neurosciences [PMN] - Last Close: $1.59 ProMIS Neuro is heating up after an announcement. On Monday, the company announced plans to raise C$20.4 million through a private placement. ProMIS entered into agreements with accredited investors to sell units of stock and warrants priced at C$1.88 apiece. The company will also pursue a PIPE placement with units priced at C$1.87 per share. Proceeds from the placement will fund development of PMN310 and provide general working capital. PMN is up 27.6% on the news. My Take: This placement gives PMN the dry powder it needs to advance its lead drug candidate through trials, so it's no surprise the market likes what it sees. That's it for today! Thanks for reading, and good luck out there! Best Regards, Chris D. -- Elite Trade Club P.S...
