Good Morning! Hey, there! It's Chris from Elite Trade Club, here to give you this morning's premarket trading news. Happy Friday! It's July 21st. I hope you have a great weekend. Let's get ready to trade! Markets 📈 The Dow notched its ninth gain in a row on Thursday after advancing 0.4% on the trading session. The S&P 500 lost 0.6%, while the Nasdaq sold off for a 2.0% decline. The small-cap Russell 2K closed 0.8% lower. Futures are on the rise in early trading. S&P 500 contracts are currently up 0.2%. What to Watch Today 👀 Earnings Friday's earning schedule is thinner than earlier days this week, but there are still some notable names set to report, including American Express, Autonation, and others. Almost all these reports will hit the wires in the premarket, and they could influence today's trading session. Major Earnings 💰 American Express Company [AXP] ... AM Schlumberger N.V. [SLB] ... AM Roper Technologies, Inc. [ROP] ... AM Regions Financial Corporation [RF] ... AM Huntington Bancshares Incorporated [HBAN] ... AM Interpublic Group Of Companies, Inc. (The) [IPG] ... AM Autonation, Inc. [AN] ... AM Autoliv, Inc. [ALV] ... AM Comerica Incorporated [CMA] ... AM Sensient Technologies Corporation [SXT] ... AM Economy 🏗 - None scheduled Running Hot 🔥 Gainers - Chicken Soup for the Soul [CSSEL] >> +27.0% - Greenbrook TMS [GBNH] >> +27.2% - Addex Therapeutics [ADXN] >> +17.6% - Rail Vision Unit [RVSN] >> +16.4% Decliners - Sigma Labs [SASI] >> (36.8%) - Paltalk [PALT] >> (12.7%) - Ellen Therapeutics [ELYM] >> (10.0%) - 60 Degrees Pharma [SXTP] >> (8.2%) Comerica [CMA] - Last Close: $52.93 Comerica is rallying after an earnings beat. The regional bank reported its Q2 results this morning and topped the Street's expectations. Comerica generated EPS of $2.01 and topped the $1.86 per share consensus by 8.0%. Sales jumped 11.4% YoY to $924 million in the quarter, easily topping the Street's $902.75 million target. CMA is leading the S&P 500 with a 5.4% gain. My Take: CMA appears to be on the comeback trail after suffering steep declines during the regional banking crisis. This could be a swing trade opportunity. BioNexus Gene Lab [BGLC] - Last Close: $4.87 BioNexus Gene Lab is rebounding in dramatic fashion. The gene company completed a public offering of 1.25 million shares priced at $4 apiece on Thursday, and shares sold off for 55.4% in the trading session. However, shares began to reverse course after the close, and the stock is now in the midst of a breakout rally. BGLC is up 57.8%, and it's currently the premarket's top-performing stock. My Take: This is a crazy rebound rally, and there's no news to explain it. However, BGLC was trading for upwards of $15 last week, so there could be substantial upside left in this run. Digital World Acquisition [DWAC] - Last Close: $13.36 Digital World Acquisition is also enjoying a steep rebound rally. This morning, the SPAC said it has settled an ongoing fraud case with the SEC regarding its initial public offering. With the matter resolved, Digital World says it now plans to press ahead with its merger with Trump Media & Technology Group. Under the terms of the settlement, the SPAC agreed to a cease-and-desist order and pay an $18 million penalty upon closing its planned merger with TMTG. DWAC is up 19.3% on the news, and DWACW warrants are up 54.6%. My Take: This has to be the most anticipated SPAC merger ever, and it's taking forever. But, DWAC is finally working towards a close. This stock could be very busy in the coming weeks. Guardforce AI [GFAI] - Last Close: $6.44 Guardforce AI continues to run hot after a groundbreaking announcement. On Thursday, the AI-powered security firm announced a new partnership with Concord Security to co-launch a robotic security service in Singapore. Guardforce CEO said it has a prototype in testing, and the company hopes to launch in the fourth quarter. Shares of GFAI jumped 57.4% on Thursday following the announcement, and the rally rolled right through the close and into today's premarket. GFAI is one of this morning's top stocks with a 21.4% premarket gain. My Take: GFAI has the market's attention, but can it deliver on the hype? That's the long-term question, but, for now, it's making solid gains. That's it for today! Thanks for reading, and good luck out there! Best Regards, Chris D. -- Elite Trade Club P.S...
