Good Morning! Hey, there! It's Chris from Elite Trade Club, here to give you this morning's premarket trading news. Happy Friday! It's July 14th. I hope you have a great weekend. Let's get ready to trade! Markets 📈 The Nasdaq rallied again on Thursday, closing with a 1.5% gain. The S&P 500 added 0.8%, and the Dow edged 0.1% higher. The small-cap Russell 2K advanced 0.9%. Futures are pushing higher in today's premarket. S&P 500 contracts are up 0.1%, and Dow contracts are up 0.4%. Investor sentiment appears to be improving in the wake of this week's CPI report, but big banks tend to have a superb feel for the economy. Keep an eye on these two reports this morning. The insurance giant released its Q2 earnings this morning, and the results topped expectations. UnitedHealth generated adjusted EPS of $6.14 per diluted share in Q2, up from $5.57 a year earlier, and beat the consensus estimate of $5.98. Revenues of $92.9 billion were also up from the year-earlier quarter and surpassed the Street's $90.96 billion target. UNH is leading the S&P 500 with a 3.3% gain on the news. My Take: UNH is trading for close to its 52-week low, but this earnings report shows the company's numbers are still headed in the right direction. Its current price point could be a buying opportunity for long-term-focused investors. Terran Orbital [LUNR] - Last Close: $8.54 Terran Orbital just cleared a major operational obstacle. The space company said its Nova-C lunar lander passed its spacecraft test run, calling it a "significant" technical achievement. In a late Thursday statement, Terran said the test run verified the spacecraft's flight software, avionics, liquid oxygen systems, and more. LUNR is up 19.6% in today's premarket following the announcement. My Take: LUNR is beginning to look like a promising speculative play in the space sector. I am keeping my eye on this up-and-comer. Pain Reform [PRFX] - Last Close: $5.75 Pain Reform is recovering after a brutal sell-off. The company's declines began when it announced a $2.7 million registered direct offering and a concurrent private placement of its shares on Wednesday. Shares quickly began to plummet following the news, and the stock posted back-to-back losses on Wednesday and Thursday. However, the selloff appears to have been overdone, as shares are rebounding in dramatic fashion in today's premarket. PRFX is one of this morning's top stocks with a 41.2% gain. My Take: The PFRX chart is showing some interesting patterns. I expect more volatility out of this stock in the weeks ahead. Bright Minds [DRUG] - Last Close: $0.5910 Bright Minds is trending higher after a reverse stock split. On Friday, the psychedelic drug company implemented a 1-for-5 reverse split of its common shares to regain compliance with Nasdaq listing rules. The company's board approved the plan in June, but it just took effect in today's session. Shares are reacting favorably to the news. DRUG is up 28.6% in premarket trading. My Take: DRUG has been exhibiting a lot of volatility lately, but it's beginning to build momentum. It could be worth keeping an eye on. That's it for today! Thanks for reading, and good luck out there! Best Regards, Chris D. -- Elite Trade Club P.S...
