Good Morning! Hey, there! It's Chris from Elite Trade Club, here to give you this morning's premarket trading news. Happy Monday! It's July 10th. I hope you had a great weekend. Let's get ready to trade! Markets 📈 U.S. indexes fell on Friday, with the Dow's half-point loss leading the way lower. The S&P 500 fell 0.2%, and the Nasdaq gave up 0.1%. The small-cap Russell 2K outperformed with a 1.2% rally. Today, futures are trending down in early-morning trading in response to more lackluster economic data coming out of China. S&P 500 contracts are down about 0.1%. The report also showed further declines in producer prices compared to last month. Investors are concerned that China could be slipping into a deflationary cycle that could significantly threaten global growth. What to Watch Today 👀 Earnings Markets are returning to business-as-usual this week after the Fourth of July holiday. We'll get several earnings reports today, and there's more to come later in the week. These upcoming reports could be key catalysts to watch this week. After Friday's close, the pharma firm filed a Form 8-K that noted a major amendment to its Senior Secured Credit Agreement with JPMorgan Chase Bank. The amended deal includes rate-setting changes and updates to other provisions. Organon's 8-K Report also included new financial reports & summaries. OGN is leading the S&P 500 with a 6.9% gain this morning. My Take: OGN has had a rough few months, but its recent sell off may have bottomed out in early June. Today's rally could prove to be a pivot point. NANOBIOTIX [NBTX] - Last Close: $5.18 NANOBIOTIX just announced a major deal. This morning, the biotech firm said it granted Johnson & Johnson's [JNJ] Janssen Pharma unity worldwide rights to its NBTXR3 oncology treatment. Under the terms of the deal, Janssen will receive global rights to develop and commercialize the investigational cancer drug. NANOBIOTIX will receive $60 million upfront cash, plus up to $1.8 billion in potential milestone payments, and royalties on sales. The tiny biotech is also eligible to receive a $30 million equity investment from J&J. NBTX is one of this morning's top stock with a 44.5% gain. My Take: This is a great deal for NBTX, and it could provide additional catalysts down the road if certain milestone-based payments are triggered. Mobilicom [MOB] - Last Close: $1.50 News of a huge government deal is boosting shares of Mobilicom. The drone company just announced a commercial-scale purchase order from Teledyne FLIR for 120 of its SkyHopper PRO data link systems. It's the largest order to date from Teledyne FLIR for the SkyHopper PRO system, which are set to be integrated into small drones for the Dept. of Defense. Delivery of the SkyHopper PRO systems to Teledyne-FLIR under this purchase order is expected during 2023. A Mobilicom representative said the company "is well positioned for more sales of its SkyHopper Pro" as Teledyne FLIR's government sales continue to grow. Financial details weren't disclosed, but MOB is up 76.0% on elevated trading volume in response to the news. My Take: MOB could be on the path to more gains in the weeks ahead. Shares have been trending higher since early May, and this big rally could put the stock on more investors' radars. Alpine 4 [ALPP] - Last Close: $1.68 Alpine 4 is up on reports of a big government contract. After Friday's close, the company said its Vayu Aerospace unit received its first purchase order from a US government contractor for its G1 MKIII fixed wing UAVs. The purchase order came from government contractor All American, and it includes orders for 10 G1 MKIIIs. Alpine 4 said this is the first $5.25 million purchase order from a $100 million supply agreement with the contractor. The company also stated the airframes will likely be delivered in Q4 of this year and Q1 of next year. News of the order lifted ALPP to a 25.6% gain in today's premarket. My Take: There could be many more orders ahead for ALPP under this deal. Shares are coming off a big sell off, but this news could help this stock turn itself around. That's it for today!
