The Dow [+0.5%], S&P 500 [+0.6%], and Nasdaq [+1.0%] edged higher, while the Russell 2K [-0.4%] posted a slight loss. Policymakers said they decided to respond to strong consumer spending and elevated inflation. In January, the Bank of Canada said it would halt rate increases indefinitely, but inflation continued and eventually forced the central bank's hand. Today's Top Winners and Losers 🔥 HashiCorp [HCP] $25.78 (25.8%) HashiCorp reported better-than-expected Q1 earnings and revenues, but it also slashed its fiscal 2024 revenue outlook, sparking a sell off in its shares. Greenlane Holdings [GNLN] $2.74 (19.4%) Greenlane Holding hit a new 52-week low today. Share prices have been in free fall since the company announced a 1-for-10 reverse stock split on June 5th. GameStop [GME] $21.44 (17.8%) GameStop fired CEO Matt Furlong and elevated activist investor & company chairman Ryan Cohen to executive chairman. Carvana [CVNA] $24.23 (+56.0%) Carvana raised its Q2 guidance. The car seller says it now expects to generate EBITDA of more than $50 million for the quarter. Previous guidance called for "positive" Q2 EBITDA. Designer Brands [DBI] $8.65 (+19.9%) Designer Brands announced a partnership with Nike [NKE -0.8%] during a conference call with investors today. Financial details of the collaboration weren't disclosed. eXp World Holdings [EXPI] $20.14 (+20.6%) S&P Dow Jones announced eXp World Holdings will replace Heska Corp. [HSKA <0.1%] in the S&P Smallcap 600. The stock will join the index prior to the open of trading on June 14th. That's it for today!
