The company released its fiscal Q1 earnings late Wednesday, and the results impressed investors. Semtech reported EPS of $0.02 per share. Analysts expected a $(0.08) per share loss. Sales came in at $236.54 million, which also topped the consensus of $235 million. Semtech's Q2 guidance also surpassed expectations. SMTC is one of the morning's top stocks with a 23.2% gain. My Take: Nice quarter for SMTC. If it can sustain profitability, its valuation could get a boost. Onfolio [ONFO] - Last Close: $1.12 Onfolio is trending after a business update. The company recently posted an acquisition strategy update and a detailed outline of its AI strategy on its website. Onfolo says its expects acquisitions and leveraging artificial intelligence to play pivotal roles in its future growth. The article describing the Company’s general acquisition strategy can be found here: [( The article outlining how the Company intends to use AI in its subsidiaries to grow and recognize operating leverage can be found here: [( ONFO is up 24.1% in today's premarket. My Take: This rally has been fueled by pure hype. All ONFO did was post an article to its website. Don't get too excited. Lakeland Industries [LAKE] - Last Close: $12.28 A strong earnings release is lifting shares of Lakeland Industries. The company reported its Q1 results last night, and the report featured a few notable bright spots. Lakeland posted EPS of $0.18 per share, topping the consensus of $0.13 by 28%. Sales of $28.70 million were up 5.2% from last year, but they fell just short of analysts' $28.71 million target. LAKE is up 21.0% in the premarket. My Take: LAKE's quarter barely surpassed the consensus but it was enough to give share prices a boost. REV Group [REVG] - Last Close: $11.76 REV Group just posted a big earnings beat. The company reported its fiscal Q2 results this morning, and the numbers were impressive. REV reported EPS of $0.35, nearly double the consensus estimate of $0.18. Net sales hit $681.2 million for the quarter, up 18.2% from the previous year, and topped the $580.5 million consensus. REV Group's board maintained its dividend, but it announced the launch of a $175 million share repurchase program. REVG is up 18.4% in the wake of the earnings release. My Take: REVG couldn't have had a much better earnings report than that. Plus, the buyback should give share prices extra support. That's it for today! Thanks for reading, and good luck out there!
