Good Morning! Hey, there! It's Chris from Elite Trade Club, here to give you this morning's premarket trading news. Today is Wednesday, June 7th. I hope you have a great day in the market. 📢 We won't be sending out our Closing Bell Roundup today. Apologies for any inconvenience. Now, let's get ready to trade! Markets 📈 US Indexes gained on Tuesday in a quiet trading session. The Dow added less than 0.1%, while the S&P 500 edged higher by 0.2% and the Nasdaq advanced 0.3%. The small-cap Russell 2K broke out for a 2.6% rally. This morning, futures are edging lower in response to an unexpected drop in Chinese exports. S&P 500 contracts are currently holding onto a slim gain of less than 0.1%. Sponsored [Five Top Tech Stocks to Own Now]( 🚀 Warren Buffett says that a "climate of fear is your friend when investing; a euphoric world is your enemy." "The time to buy is when there's blood in the streets, even if the blood is your own." With a good deal of fear priced into the tech sector, here are five hot stocks to consider. China's slowing economic output is beginning to raise concerns about global growth among investors. Major Earnings 💰 Brown Forman Inc [BF.A] ... AM Campbell Soup Company [CPB] ... Yesterday, analysts from Refinitiv/Verus upgraded the data infrastructure company from "SELL" to "HOLD". The stock has performed exceptionally well over the past month, gaining nearly 50% since May 15h. There was no major news to explain the analyst upgrade, but shares of MRVL are getting a boost on the news. MRVL is up 4.3% in early trading. My Take: MRVL could be an interesting stock to watch. It has exposure to the semiconductor industry, and it appears to be on the up and up. Yext [YEXT] - Last Close: $9.60 Better-than-expected earnings are lifting shares of Yext. The business Q&A platform reported its Q1 earnings this morning, and its earnings and revenues exceeded expectations. Yext earned $0.08 per diluted share after posting a $(0.06) per share loss a year earlier. Analysts expected a profit of $0.05 per share. Quarterly revenues came in at $99.5 million, up slightly from last year, and beat the consensus of $98.6 million. Yext's Q2 and fiscal 2024 guidance also surpassed expectations. YEXT is one of today's top premarket performers with a 17.9% gain. My Take: This rally is on course to put YEXT above a key resistance point, and it could find support at $10 if it can hold onto its gains. Farmer Brothers [FARM] - Last Close: $1.93 Farmer Brothers just announced a major asset sale. The company will offload its Texas coffee facility and its non-direct store delivery coffee business in a $100 million deal with Treehouse Foods [THS]. Treehouse said the deal is expected to generate "greater profit capture in the supply chain." The buyer will also retain 190 Farmer Bros. employees to support operations at its new facility under the terms of the deal. FARM is up 49.7% on active trading volume on news of the deal. My Take: FARM has had a rough 12 months, but this rally could prove to be a pivot point. If it can return to a positive trend, there could be significant upside ahead. Heliogen [HLGN] - Last Close: $0.2350 Heliogen is on the rise after a key announcement. The renewable energy firm landed a deal with the City of Lancaster, California, to produce green hydrogen that will fuel the town's municipal fleet. Heliogen will produce the green hydrogen at its Proxima facility in Lancaster, and sell it at an expected contract price of $10 per kilogram offtake. The company also said it has finalized initial designs and had chosen a site for its new facility. HLGN is up 13.8% on active premarket trading volume. My Take: HLGN could have a bright future if this Lancaster deal goes off without a hitch. A company like this just needs one big government or corporate contract to make it to the big leagues. That's it for today! Thanks for reading, and good luck out there! Best Regards, Chris D. -- Elite Trade Club P.S...
