However, U.S. benchmarks retreated from their intraday highs in late-session trading, though most managed to close the day higher. The Nasdaq [+1.0%], Dow [+0.2%], and S&P 500 [+0.3%] posted modest gains, while the small-cap Russell 2K [-0.2%] edged lower on the session. It's yet another sign that the world's central banks are taking the inflation seriously, and they're willing to make moves that could hinder their economy in the short-term in order to rein in the threat. Today's Top Winners and Losers 🔥 Trupanion [TRUP] $41.19 (-26.7%) Trupanion announced its chief financial officer, Drew Wolff, will step down from his position effective June 1st in order to pursue other interests. Cidara Therapeutics [CDTX] $1.43 (-24.7%) Cidara Therapeutics reported a Q4 loss of $(0.19) per share on revenues of $10.22 million, falling short of the consensus estimates of a $(0.17) per share loss on $10.57 million in revenues. Via Renewables [VIA ://elitetra.de/L2Ic ] $16.20 (-22.9%) Via Renewables has been in free fall since announcing a one-for-five reverse stock split earlier this week. The split took effect at the open on Wednesday, and shares are down substantially since then. DiamondHead Holdings [DHHC] $18.92 (+82.6%) On Wednesday, DiamondHead announced that it a group of investors agreed to invest $80 million in the company via convertible notes. FiscalNote [NOTE] $2.38 (+75.0%) OpenAI has selected FiscalNote as one of 14 inaugural "trusted partners" who will offer plug-ins for its ChatGPT platform. Jaguar Health [GME] $1.13 (+39.5%) Jaguar Health rallied one day ahead of its expected earnings release. The company is scheduled to publish its Q4 2022 results tomorrow. That's it for today!
