[Image](www.elitetrade.club) Good Morning! Hey, there! It's Chris from Elite Trade Club, here to give you this morning's premarket trading news. Today is Wednesday, March 15th. I hope you have a great trading day! Now, let's get ready to trade! Markets 📈 US indexes rallied on Tuesday after February CPI data showed inflation cooled last month. The S&P 500 jumped 1.6% and the Nasdaq rallied 2.1%. The Dow gained 1.0%, and the small-cap Russell 2K added 1.8% on the trading day. This morning, futures are down sharply ahead of the open. S&P 500 and Dow contracts are down 1.5% in early-morning trading. Sponsored [ALERT: Breaking News Could Skyrocket This Stock]( Early this morning, an under-the-radar solar stock announced a landmark deal that could make it a top contender in the highly-coveted green energy sector. This move could help the company diversify its asset portfolio and grow its revenues, even if the market's struggles continue. Better yet, the company's position in the energy sector could make its revenues extremely resistant to a potential recession. If this company continues to make moves like this, the sky is the limit for this tiny growth stock. [Get the Ticker & Full Details on Its Blockbuster Acquisition Here]( Premarket Highlights 🔎 🚨 Trouble at Credit Suisse Shares of European banking giant Credit Suisse [ADR: CS] are down 20.3% in the premarket as investors question the bank's ability to stabilize its operations. This morning, there are reports that CS's top shareholder has refused to make any further investment in the bank . What to Watch Today 👀 Economic Data We're getting two important reads on the US economy in today's premarket. The retail sales report should provide some insights into the current plight of the US consumer, and the Producer Price Index report will shed more light on the state of inflation. The PPI data should be especially impactful considering yesterday's upbeat CPI report. If today's PPI data shows a similar slowdown in inflation, it could give stocks the boost they need to turn higher. Major Earnings 💰 Arcos Dorados Holdings Inc. [ARCO] ... AM Adobe Inc. [ADBE] ... The market seems to recognize that the regional bank might not be in as much trouble as originally expected. The stock rallied on Monday after a dramatic five-day sell-off, though it closed well off its intraday highs. Today, it's up again despite no new headlines to explain the move higher. FRC is leading the S&P 500 with a 4.1% gain in today's premarket. My Take: Rumors of FRC's imminent demise appear to have been somewhat exaggerated. However, the bank is still trading well below its previous price range. There could be more upside on the table if public sentiment towards the regional banking sector improves. Jounce Therapeutics [JNCE] - Last Close: $1.06 An unsolicited buyout proposal is giving Jounce Therapeutics a big boost. The company reported late Tuesday that it had received an unsolicited buyout proposal from Concentra Biosciences. Under the terms of the proposal, JNCE shareholders would receive $1.80 in cash and a contingent value right for each share of common stock. The contingent value right represents a right to receive 80% of the net proceeds from any license or disposition of certain of the company's legacy programs. Jounce has already greed to merge with Redx Pharma in an all-stock deal scheduled to close in Q2, subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals. Jounce says it will make a "further announcement" on the Concentra proposal very soon. My Take: There's still some potential upside on the table in this trade, but you should carefully weigh any potential downside risk from the proposal potentially being turned down. Movella Holdings [MVLA] - Last Close: $1.69 Movella Holdings is getting a boost from an analyst note. This morning, Stifel analyst Tore Svanberg initiated coverage on the integrated sensors, software & analytics firm with a "buy" rating and a $7 price target. The news broke early this morning, after MVLA set a new 52-week low in yesterday's session. MVLA is up 27.8% ahead of today's opening bell, making it one of this morning's top premarket performers. My Take: The timing of this analyst note is a little suspicious considering the stock set two new 52-week lows over the past week. I wonder if Stifel has any exposure to this stock in its portfolio. HUB Cyber Security [HUBC] - Last Close: $1.51 HUB Cyber just landed an investment at an excellent valuation. The Israeli cybersecurity firm announced yesterday that it had issued and sold 400,000 shares of common stock to two pipe investors in exchange for $4 million. The private placement deal values HUBC shares at $10 per share. The shares were sold pursuant to the original PIPE terms entered into in connection with the Company's business combination. The remaining PIPE funds are currently being negotiated with investors and the Company remains in discussions with the investors to receive those funds. HUBC is up 13.1% on active trading volume in today's premarket. My Take: These PIPE investments represent a 562% premium over HUBC's Tuesday closing price. If these investors are right about this company, there's still a lot of upside left on the table. This one could be worth watching. That's it for today! Thanks for reading, and good luck out there!
