[Image](www.elitetrade.club) Good Morning! Hey, there! It's Chris from Elite Trade Club, here to give you this morning's premarket trading news. Happy Friday! It's November 18th. I hope you have an excellent weekend! Let's get ready to trade! Markets ð Stocks sang on Thursday as a bout of weak retail earnings report soured investor sentiment. The Nasdaq and S&P 500 fell 0.3% on the day, while the Dow slid to a small fractional loss of less than 0.1%. The small-cap Russell 2K lost 0.7%. Today, futures are pushing higher ahead of the opening bell. S&P 500 contracts are currently showing a 0.6% gain. FTX's new CEO, appointed to oversee its bankruptcy proceedings, said it's the worst mess he's seen in 40 years of restructuring firms and called the crypto exchange an "unprecedented debacle." ð Bitcoin Prices Sink. The benchmark crypto is hovering around $16,000 as the collapse of FTX continues to send shockwaves through crypto markets. What to Watch Today ð Quiet End to the Week There's not anything major on the docket today, so I'm expecting a quiet end to the week. Next week will be a short one due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. We also have Black Friday following behind it, and we could see some volatility if retailers report smaller-than-expected crowds. International ð Asia Australia's ASX 200 gained 0.2% overnight, while other regional markets took losses. The Shanghai Composite lost 0.5%, and Japan's Nikkei 225 slid 0.1%. Europe
The French CAC 40, German DAX, and Euro Stoxx 600 are all carrying gains of 1.2% midway through their trading days in a big rally for European markets. Major Earnings ð° Atkore Inc. [ATKR] ... AM

The discount apparel retailer posted its Q3 report this morning and the results exceeded the market's expectations. Ross reported Q3 earnings of $1.00 per share against the consensus of $0.82. Revenues came in at $4.57 billion, which also beat the consensus of $4.37 billion by a wide margin. Ross also hiked its Q4 and FY2022 revenue forecasts in response to the strong quarter. The strong report catapulted ROST to the top of the S&P 500 with a 16.4% gain on active trading volume. My Take: ROST knocked it out of the park in Q3, and the stock is in an uptrend since July. However, it's pretty late in the rally, so your potential upside could be limited. Apellis Pharmaceuticals Inc [APLS] - Last Close: $43.24 An early morning announcement is rallying shares of Apellis Pharma. The company reported that the US Food and Drug Administration has accepted and agreed to review an amendment to the company's new drug application for pegcetacoplan. Pegcetacoplan was developed for the treatment of geographic atrophy, an advanced form of age-related macular degeneration. Apellis said it amended the application to include new data from two Phase 3 studies showing the drug produced increasing and consistent effects with regular treatment. Shares of APLS are up 17.9% on the news. My Take: APLS is facing stiff resistance at the $60 mark, and it's likely to find some support at $50. APLS was trading for roughly $70 at the start of Oct., so there's still a lot of room for this stock to run. PaxMedica Inc [PXMD] - Last Close: $1.55 PaxMedica just made a big announcement that's pushing shares higher. The clinical-stage biopharma firm has reached an agreement with Lincoln Park Capital to sell $20 million worth of common stock over a 30-month period. The deal gives PaxMedica the right, not the obligation, to sell the shares of Lincoln Park. The company says it plans to use the proceeds for working capital and corporate purposes to support growth. Shares of PXMD are trading actively with a 37.4% gain in response to the news. My Take: This stock's chart is pretty flat, but maybe this story is the catalyst it needs to get moving. Iveric Bio Inc [ISEE] - Last Close: $17.24 A favorable FDA ruling sent Iveric Bio soaring in today's premarket. The biopharma firm announced FDA regulators approved a breakthrough therapy designation for avacincaptad pegol, or Zimura, to treat geographic atrophy from age-related macular degeneration. The designation will accelerate the development and regulatory review of the drugs. Regulators awarded the designation based on a 12-month primary efficacy endpoint data from two studies evaluating the drugs' safety profiles. News of the ruling made ISEE one of this morning's top performers with a 22.1% gain. My Take: This stock is coming off a dramatic pullback. If it can hold above $20, it could find new support and pivot higher. If you're a swing trader, you should give ISEE a look. That's it for today! Thanks for reading, and good luck out there!
