Here's what moved the market today: Markets 📈 Markets recovered from this morning's down open, but the intraday rally fell short at the goal line. The Dow [+0.1%], S&P 500 [+0.2%], Nasdaq [+0.2%] and small-cap Russell 2k [-0.7%] closed with slim losses. Today's Top Winners and Losers 🔥 Arcimoto [FUV] $1.16 (-12.7%) Arcimoto reached an agreement to potentially sell up to $50 million worth of its common stock to Tunim Stone Capital. The deal is subject to shareholder approval, which the company hopes to obtain before June 30th, 2023. Aeroclean Technologies [AERC] $4.77 (-19.7%) Shares of AERC pulled back after gaining 85% on Tuesday in response to its announcement of an all-stock merger with privately-held Molekule. The companies hope to close on the deal in early 2023, and AERC will change its name to Molekule and trade under ticker symbol MKUL upon completion. Sotera Health [SHC ://elitetra.de/L2Ic ] $7.15 (-11.0%) Analysts at Citigroup downgraded their rating on SHC to "neutral" from its previous rating of "buy" and set a $9 price target on the stock. Analysts polled by Capital IQ have set price targets on SHC ranging from $9 to $25, so Citigroup's $9 target is among the lowest. Chardan Nextech Acquisition [CNTQ] $21.54 (+102.6%) SEC disclosures revealed Chardan Nextech's CEO, Jonas Grossman, spent upwards of $5 million to purchase 485,000 additional shares of the company. Grossman now holds roughly 3.5 million shares of stock with a market value of about $36.4 million. Nauticus Robotics [KITT] $6.32 (+96.2%) Nauticus Robotics landed another contract with the US Dept. of Defense's Defense Innovation Unit for the use of its ToolKITT software to develop an amphibious unmanned robotic system. The financial terms of the deal were not included in the initial press release. Top Ships [TOPS] $9.88 (+81.9%) TOPS was featured on this morning's watchlist when it was up just 16.4%, but it went on to post much larger gains by the end of the day. The OPEC+ production cut may have contributed to the tanker stock's large rally in today's session. That's it for today!
