Major Earnings 💰 - None Economy 🏗 - Factory Orders [May] ... 10a Running Hot 🔥 Gainers - Newage Inc [NBEV] >> +31.4% - Solo Brands [DTC] >> +17.5% - Pagaya [PGY] >> +16.1% Decliners - Staffing 360 [STAF] >> (23.6%) - Akso Health DRC [AHG] >> (17.4%) - Mullen Automotive [MULN] >> (6.5%) Tyme Technologies [TYME] - Last Close: $0.2702 Tyme Technologies is soaring on big M&A news, Syros Pharmaceuticals has agreed to acquire Tyme Technologies in an all-stock deal worth approximately $60 million. Under the terms of the deal, Syros will pay 74.3 million shares of its common stock to acquire the company, representing an exchange rate of about 0.43 shares for every share of TYME. The companies said the definitive merger agreement has been approved by their boards of directors, and the deal is expected to close in the second half. After closing, TYME will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Synos. News of the deal is lifting TYME to a 38.8% premarket gain. Our Take: Synos also announced a new direct offering to fund its development pipeline when news broke of the TYME buyout deal. It looks like Synos is making some big moves, but it's unclear whether it will pay off. RA Medical [RMED] - Last Close: $0.3090 News of a regulatory breakthrough is giving RA Medical a premarket bump. The company revealed in a premarket press release that the US Food & Drug Administration has approved its DABRA 2.0 catheter as part of the DABRA excimer laser system. RA Medica's DABRA 2.0 contains several enhancements that could power strong demand and revenue growth for the newly-approved medical device. RMED is up 69.9% on active trading volume in the wake of the news. Our Take: The approval is promising, but RMED is currently in the midst of a company-wide strategic review to determine its future, and it recently laid off about 65% of its full-time employees. Keep that in mind before you jump into this one. . Endo Intl. PLC [ENDP] - Last Close: $0.5701 Endo International is rallying on news of a favorable court outcome. A federal jury has decided in the specialty pharma's firm favor with a verdict in an antitrust suit against the company's subsidiaries regarding its painkiller Opana ER. Plaintiffs alleged a 2010 patent settlement agreement between Endo and Impax Laboratories, now Amneal Pharmaceuticals, violated antitrust laws. However, the verdict confirmed that the deal was "procompetitive and enabled Impax to come to market with its generic version of Opana ER years earlier than otherwise would have been permitted," said Endo' Legal chief. News of the favorable verdict is lifting shares of ENDP to a 17.5% gain, and it's one of this morning's most actively traded stock. Our Take: Endo also recently announced that it received a de-listing notice from Nasdaq, but the lawsuit win seems to be more important in the market's eyes because this stock is pushing higher. OneConnect Financial Technology [OCFT] - Last Close: $1.85 Shares of OneConnect are heating up after the company cleared a major milestone. The cloud-based fintech stock is soaring in today's premarket after successfully completing its listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong stock exchange. The Shares are traded on the Main Board of SEHK under the stock code “6638” in board lots of 500 Shares, and the stock short name is “OCFT” OneConnect's American depository shares will continue to trade on the NYSE under the ticker OCFT. The successful listing sent OCFT to an 11.9% gain on active trading volume in today's premarket Our Take: OCFT has been up-trending since the middle of last month. This could be a speculative tech play worth watching, especially if trading volume picks up. That's it for today! Thanks for reading, and good luck out there!
