The same activities that can help you meet people to date can also help you meet wonderful new friends. Secondly, try to identify what it is about coupled-up people that’s tough for you to be around. Do they force their [unrelatable dating advice]( on you? Do they always bring their partners when hanging out? Let your bestie know you’d like more solo time with them! Tell them you appreciate their advice but you’d rather not talk about dating! If you’re stuck in friendship dynamics that don’t bring you joy, it’s a great self-love practice to work on speaking up for your needs. That’s something that will help you in future romantic relationships, too.
