[View this email in your browser]( Meghan Markle’s Dad Reportedly Won’t Be Attending Her Wedding & The Reason Is So Sad [Meghan Markle’s family has been stirring up the drama]( ever since her engagement to Prince Harry was announced. Markle’s parents are divorced, and her half-siblings on her father’s side have been making some not-so-nice moves, like reportedly telling Prince Harry to break off the engagement (her half-brother has not confirmed this). However, all that positivity seems to have come to a screeching halt. Today, TMZ reported that Thomas Markle had a heart attack, and so he will apparently not be attending the wedding this weekend after all. This comes after Thomas Markle reportedly staged and paid for a series of photos of himself preparing for the wedding, although he reportedly told TMZ that he “meant no harm to Meghan or the Royal Family when he made a deal to allow a photo agency to take pics of him.” For now, we’ll have to wait and see who will walk Meghan down the aisle — if she needs someone to do it. But, as it turns out, there actually are people who grew up to be mermaids, and they’re out there living your childhood dream. The Weeki Wachee Springs State Park down in Florida employs a team of 16 women (along with two men as princes) who swim around as “mermaids” to bring tourists to the park. Elite Daily’s Lilli Petersen spoke with one of the mermaids about what, exactly, her job entails and how she ended up flapping around under the sea. As she explains it, flipping those fins is way more difficult than the mermaids make it seem — but it’s all worth it to see the looks of amazement on the faces of kids in the crowd. The announcement came as a surprise to many fans, especially since they always seemed so supportive of each other on social media. In their announcement, they said they still love each other and are still a family — and so far, they seem to be living up to those vows. Yesterday, Channing posted a video to his Instagram in which he stood in the middle of a beautiful sunset and gave a shout-out to Jenna for Mother’s Day. It was as sweet as it was bitter, and I just can’t believe how wonderful this couple is, even in separating. Click below to see it for yourself.
