During his rally, he also claimed that the polls are rigged, attacked autoworkers, complained about slights and grievances, and undermined the sacrifices of our military and veterans. He also announced a policy to federally fund IVF treatments — despite the fact that every Republican Senate candidate (including our opponent) has refused to say if they would protect IVF federally. Even worse, my opponent, Mike Rogers, co-sponsored 4 bills that would make IVF impossible nationwide. As I always say, watch what they do, not what they say. Mike Rogers and Donald Trump have both felt the political winds shift against them on the issue of choice, and now they are desperately hoping to persuade voters that they have changed – but Michiganders are not buying it. We know Trump’s playbook, {NAME}. And every time Trump returns, it is a likely boon for our potential opponent – in fundraising, in media coverage, and in volunteer activity. We need to not only match that energy, but exceed it. No matter what anyone may tell you, Michigan is a swing state – full stop.
