FIRST: CNN moved our race UP their list of the “Top 10 Senate Seats Most Likely to Flip in 2024” — making it clear Michigan will be closer than ever. THEN: The Cook Political Report, one of the most respected nonpartisan ratings organizations, moved our Senate race from “Lean Dem” to a pure “Toss-Up.” AND NOW: President Biden suspended his bid for president and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, which is a historic moment, but also one that creates a lot of uncertainty moving forward. Because if anybody tells you that they know exactly what comes next, they’re probably kidding themselves. The fundamentals in our race in a swing state remain consistent. And that means we need to be prepared. So our plan is this: we will be executing the campaign operation and grassroots organization that we know works in Michigan. That means traveling the state to meet as many voters as possible, getting volunteers out to knock doors, and continuing our aggressive TV and digital advertising campaigns.
