It may be something a bigwig writing a huge check has on their list, but for most folks that is just not the case. But that is what I am going to ask you to do today. Right now, in fact. And here's why: The media is reporting that the National Republican Senatorial Committee -- the main organization supporting Republicans running for Senate -- is spending "seven figures" to run an organizing campaign supporting Mike Rogers, one of my potential opponents. That means they'll be setting up the structures that allow them to identify and turn out millions of his voters. It's a significant commitment and one that will result in more votes for him...and for Trump. When we see something like this pop up, it alters the dynamic of the race in a way we have to respond to. It often means we need to raise a bit more money to counteract the Republicans because more voters for them means we need to find more votes for ourselves. But unlike Mike Rogers, our campaign is funded by lots of people making individual donations -- many of which come in response to emails like this.
