Half-asleep playing with him this morning, I got to thinking⦠We can all find summer a bit disruptive, canât we? Businesses everywhere report some type of âsummer slump.â ð´ One study shows that nearly 75% of B2B businesses experience a drop in sales of 20% or more. ([Source](=).) In part, itâs because customers are traveling, caring for kids, and generally offline more than normal. But itâs also because business owners and their teams are also⦠traveling, caring for kids, and generally offline more than normal. HOWEVER, there are still a LOT of sales to be made this season! ð° The general population may be operating a little differently than normal, but they still have problems that need to be solved with coaching, services, or products. And even if we're working less, we still have the ability to help solve those problems. ð So here are 3 ways Iâm simplifying my business (and getting consistent sales) this summer: #1: Ask AI how it can help. It sounds simple, but thatâs the point! One of my favorite tips from [AI expert, Brittany Long](=), is to just ASK AI how it can help you. Describe your goal, your day-to-day tasks, and any obstacles youâre facing (i.e. no childcare between certain hours). Then ask it how it can help you â I bet youâll be surprised! I, for one, had no idea it could plan meals for me based on a picture of my fridge! ð¥ð #2: Use automated messages. Offline more than normal? Use automated messages (with a tool like Manychat) so that your audience can get connected with your resource whenever they need it. â[You can set these automations up]( in a snap and have them running in the background no matter what else is going on in your world. #3: Be okay with C+ work. Remember, no one is perfect. I just had a 3-week stretch where I didnât post to Instagram. Once. #oopsy. Iâm traveling, I donât have all my equipment with me, and weâre on a different schedule than normal. But then I remembered that imperfect action is better than no action at all.
