Look no further than the behavior of some members of the Senate during Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Supreme Court nomination hearing. Roe v. Wade, Loving v. Virginia, the Voting Rights Act, the Civil Rights Act, even Plessy v Ferguson. All of these landmark cases are either under direct challenge in the Supreme Court or have been verbally lambasted by sitting members of Congress. There is so much we could lose if we do not elect our incredible Black women candidates who will fight every day for the equality we so desperately need.
