Hyundai CE's excavators are demolishing Palestinian homes and schools and destroying Amazon's Indigenous lands. The company has just promised to stop the use of its machinery in the Amazon but is still silent about the use of its excavators to kick Palestinians out of their homes and take away their children's right to education. Add your name to ask Hyundai CE to end its involvement in crimes against humanity. [Take Action!]( [ Sign the petitionÂ]( {NAME}, In the Amazon, Indigenous territories are excavated and destroyed for illegal gold … In the West Bank, Palestinian homes and schools are excavated and destroyed to build illegal settlements. One company’s equipment is used for both of these assaults: Hyundai CE. When the company's executives were told about the Amazon issue, they intervened. But they’ve done nothing about Palestine. We can make them. Hyundai CE is a multinational corporation but has a low profile. The firm is trying to change that, just inking a social media star as a brand ambassador. That makes it the right moment to ramp up public pressure and show the company its brand is still linked with oppression and abuse. Add your name, and demand Hyundai CE stops letting its equipment be used to destroy lives. [Hyundai CE: End your involvement in the destruction of Palestinian lands]( HD Hyundai Construction Equipment is a major industry player. The company is expanding its public following and advertising its commitment to the planet and its people. Its executives know they have a moral duty to ensure Hyundai CE's products are not used to violate human rights and the environment.  But instead, they actively profited from the trade of excavators and heavy machinery to the Israeli military and to illegal miners in the Amazon, despite being fully aware of the illicit practices involved, including crimes against humanity. When activists got in touch with Hyundai CE highlighting the issue in the Amazon, the company took measures. But on Palestine? Nothing. And it’s not because it can’t – there’s plenty that can be done. First, Hyundai CE can end its deals with the Israeli distributor providing its machinery to demolish Palestinian homes and schools and build illegal settlements. The company has just promised to prevent the illegal use of its machinery in the Amazon basin and can do the same for the illegal use of its machinery in Palestine. Second, all excavators have built-in technology allowing for monitoring and even switch-off if necessary. This technology can be used in conjunction with trustworthy human rights organizations to track where their excavators are used. Third, it can at least publicly refuse the use of its machinery to execute human rights abuses against Palestinians. It’s time to ramp up the pressure on Hyundai CE and demand it ends its complicity in the destruction of Palestinian homes. Add your name so the company knows its brand is at risk.
