I’m Ashley Ehasz and I’m running again for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 1st District -

I’m Ashley Ehasz and I’m running again for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 1st District - this time to finish the job. Why run again? Because there is too much at stake. You’re hearing this from me first, {NAME}. I’m Ashley Ehasz and I’m running again for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 1st District — this time to finish the job. Why run again? Because there is too much at stake. I’m running to defend our democracy, restore reproductive rights, tackle corporate greed, advocate for bold gun safety measures, and fight for working families like mine. For too long, anti-choice Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick has sold out this district — now, his time is up. Last year, we came so close to defeating Fitzpatrick through powerful grassroots organizing in every corner of the district. [This time, we’re back for Round 2 and we’re ready to finish the job. Will you stand with me in the fight to build a brighter future for all Pennsylvanians by joining our campaign today?]( [Join the fight]( As a U.S. Army veteran, millennial, and woman raised in southeastern Pennsylvania, I am part of the first generation of Americans who are worse off than the generation before them. Pennsylvanians’ reproductive rights have been stripped away from us. I did not fight to defend our rights overseas just to see mine taken away from me here at home. With rising costs across the board, too many Pennsylvanians cannot afford to pay for basic needs like housing and childcare, find work that offers a livable wage, or pay for prescription drugs. Growing up in a working-class, single-parent household for much of my childhood, I’ve experienced firsthand what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck and not know where the next meal is coming from. I saw the painful toll that mental health and substance abuse issues can have on our families and communities. That’s why I joined the Army at 17 to gain the opportunity to get an affordable education and a pathway to the American Dream. Graduating as the only woman in my Apache helicopter class, I learned early on to roll up my sleeves and work hard to create my own opportunities. We deserve leaders in office who actually have skin in the game. Leaders who understand the challenges Pennsylvanians are facing on a daily basis and have the backbone to fight for meaningful solutions — not a career politician bought and paid for by powerful interests. I know we can bring our shared values of compassion, equality, and fairness to Congress, but I cannot do it without you. [The DCCC declared PA-01 a top target for battleground races in 2024, so I'm counting on your support to win. Will you support my people-powered campaign to defeat Fitzpatrick and flip PA-01 blue next year?]( [Join the fight]( Thank you again for continuing this journey with me. I cannot wait to hit the ground running and build on the movement we created to build a brighter future in southeast PA. Let’s come together to finish the job in 2024. Sincerely, Ashley Ehasz [Headshot photo of Ashley Ehasz]( Ashley Ehasz is a U.S. Army veteran, Apache helicopter pilot, and proudly pro-choice Democrat running to unseat Republican Brian Fitzpatrick and represent Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District to defend our democracy, restore reproductive rights, tackle corporate greed, advocate for bold gun safety measures, and fight for working families across southeast PA.
