Hey {NAME}, Next Thursday, October 1st at 11AM Pacific ([() is the next installment of eggheadTalks! First up is Mahmoud Abdelwahab's talk "Authenticating React Apps with Auth0." In this talk, you'll be given an introduction to authentication, when you should build your own solution vs. buy, and explore using Auth0 as a service provider to authenticate a React app. Next up, Maggie Appleton will present "Drawing the Invisible: React Explained in Five Visual Metaphors." Here, Maggie presents a guide to the fundamentals of React explained through five visual metaphors. From component trees to state, Maggie explains the analogies and metaphorical comparisons that helped her "get" React for the first time. React aside, this talk is primarily about how and why we should use visual metaphors. Wrestling with invisible, abstract, complex concepts is part of what programming is all about. But we're often bad at succinctly and clearly communicating the overarching idea of them to other people. 👉 [RSVP for October 1st]() eggheadTalks are free to attend, and if you can't join us live they'll be archived on site 😎 See you there, Taylor 12333 Sowden Rd Ste B, PMB#97429, Houston, TX 77080-2059 [Unsubscribe from Workshop Offers]() or [Unsubscribe from everything](
