Congress has mandated... [Effective Stock Habbits]( A note from the Editor: Effective Stock Habbits is dedicated to providing readers like you with unique opportunities. The message below from one of our business associates is one we believe you should take a serious look at.   The CAPSTONE cubesat in lunar orbit as imagined by an artist. Image: NASA | Daniel Rutter NASA announced that the CAPSTONE cubesat has successfully completed its planned maneuver and entered a near-rectilinear halo orbit around the Moon, which it will explore. It is her agency that is considering to host the future Gateway lunar station, which will be created as part of the Artemis program. In addition, the device will test new autonomous navigation systems. CAPSTONE will stay in this orbit for about half a year and we will get enough data to study it. This is very important to us as this is where we will locate our Gateway station. Jim Free, NASA Associate Administrator for Exploration Systems Development The Cubesat was launched by Rocket Lab on an Electron rocket in June of this year. With the help of the Photon upper stage, through a series of maneuvers, he entered a trajectory that took him far beyond the moon. After a few more maneuvers, the satellite eventually entered the orbit it needed. However, CAPSTONE's journey did not go smoothly. Shortly after the deployment, the cubesat lost contact with the Earth - a day later the problem was solved. In September, the satellite went into safe mode during a trajectory correction maneuver. Mission engineers attributed this to a problem in a valve in one of the engines. It took a month to resolve this issue. CAPSTONE is the first satellite to enter a near-rectilinear halo orbit. It is elliptical and passes over the poles of the Moon at altitudes from 3,500 to 71,000 kilometers. Despite the success of the final maneuver, NASA said that two more are planned for the week to finally stabilize the trajectory. Only then will there be final confirmation from the agency and Advanced Space that the cubesat has reached its desired orbit. CAPSTONE will then begin its six-month core mission, with the potential to extend for another year or more. Congress has mandated over 500,000 of these new stations. One tiny company is leading the charge with 9 government contracts and counting. [DETAILS HERE]( [Energy]( The CAPSTONE cubesat in lunar orbit as imagined by an artist.
