She previously served as director of teacher and learning initiatives and special projects at San Jacinto College. Kahoot named [Gavin Patterson]( as chair of its new board of directors following its $1.7 billion acquisition by a group of investors led by Goldman Sachs and subsequent delisting from the Oslo Stock Exchange. Patterson is the former chief executive of BT Group and previously served as chief revenue officer for Salesforce. [Jonathan Alger]( was named president of American University. Alger, currently president of James Madison University, will start in the new role on July 1. Alger also previously served as senior vice president and general counsel at Rutgers University.
