Take your time—there are many great posts below that you won't want to miss! [Borax and Baking Soda for Hot Flashes and Pain]( Posted by Lana (British Columbia) on 07/19/2023 I've been suffering with menopause hot flashes day & night. I've tried almost all the menopause supplements in my local health food store. It has been a very expensive experience with minimal relief. I came across an article referring to Borax, Celtic salt & baking soda for balancing hormones & helping hot flashes. I took my last supplement tablet of Estrovera & switched the next day to a very small pinch of each 20mule borax, Celtic salt & baking soda… [Continue Reading]( ———————— [Borax and Baking Soda Helping After 1 Day]( Posted by Laurie (PA) on 07/05/2023 After reading alot about Borax, I decided to give it a try for the inflammation in my body, I started with a pinch of Borax, baking soda and celtic sea salt and the first thing I noticed is that within 24 hours my urgent incontinence went away…[Continue Reading]( ———————— [Borax for Hidradenitis Suppurativa]( Posted by Sue (Westmoreland NY USA) on 07/22/2023 I'll start by saying I was skeptical about taking Borax-but after reading many of the posts here & on other sites-I decided to go for it. I figured worse comes to worse, I'd have an excellent cleaner! Anyway-I was looking for something to help w/Hidradenitis Suppurativa-which is basically cysts in your armpits, sometimes in groin & under breasts. It's horribly painful & can be embarrassing-especially when they burst. Doctors have no idea what causes it either & is treated w/tetracycline-a strong antibiotic or biologics &/or incisions & draining them. That doesn't cure it-they come back. And no one should be on tetracycline or biologics all the time! I started taking 1/8 of a teaspoon dissolved in a bit of warm water right after breakfast…. [Continue Reading]( ———————— [Borax Helping Arthritis]( Posted by Golfwrench (Tigerville, South Carolina) on 07/22/2023 I've been a wrench (mechanic) for nearly 40 years and over that time developed arthritis in my hands to the point that if I tried to make a fist, my knuckles weren't even visible. I started using the recommended dose for women several weeks ago and within the first week my knuckles became visible again and it hurt less to make a fist. Well now, I'd say most of the swelling is gone and the pain is not nearly what it once was… [Continue Reading]( ———————— [Re: Is Borax Poisonous?]( Posted by Art (California) on 07/22/2023 Scott M., I disagree with your statement that borax is poison. Borax has kept my severe psoriatic arthritis in remission for 15 years. I have been pain free since starting borax 15 years ago and taking it every weekday with weekends off. This study shows that Borax is safe even at dosing way above what people have reported using on EC : [( Here is a relevant quote from the study : ' Humans would need to consume daily some 3.3 g of boric acid (or 5.0 g borax) to ingest the same dose level as the lowest animal NOAEL. No effects on fertility were seen in a population of workers exposed to borates or to a population exposed to high environmental borate levels. There is remarkable similarity in the toxicological effects of boric acid and borax across different species. Other inorganic borates that simply dissociate to boric acid are expected to display similar toxicity, whereas those that do not dissociate simply to boric acid may display a different toxicological profile. ' [Continue Reading]( ———————— [Re: Is Borax Poisonous?]( Posted by Deirdre (VA) on 07/23/2023 I am in total agreement with Art on the safety of borax. I have taken 20 Mule Team Borax on and off for almost 20 years since Ted first mentioned it on this site and have had nothing but positive results from it. I had stopped for a long period a few years ago and, low and behold, got a sudden onset of trigger fingers in BOTH thumbs at exactly the same time. The hand doctor that I saw after 3 months of trying every supplement and topical remedy under the sun, told me I would need surgery if the cortisone shot didn't work. One thumb was better after the first cortisone shot, but the right hand was not… [Continue Reading]( ———————— [Boron Supplements for Arthritis]( Posted by Roelof (Pretoria, South Africa) on 07/22/2023 For me Boron was truly a miracle cure. I am a 78 year old male and blessed with good health, but over the past seven years I have had serious trouble with arthritis in my knees, one shoulder and the fingers of my left hand. I had the normal symptoms: pain, stiffness and swollen joints. Walking became increasingly difficult. I tried a number of the OTC medicines, as well as a few of the remedies on this site. None of them brought any relief worth mentioning. Eventually, I started with Boron, the 3mg tablets. I take three tablets per day. It has now been fourteen days and I am astonished by the success: no pain, the swelling and stiffness have disappeared and I can walk at a brisk pace. I am now scaling down to two tablets per day as a maintenance dose. (Ps. Using Boron tablets instead of the Borax solution was just a personal choice.) [Source]( [Garlic and Colloidal Silver for Strep Throat]( Posted by Mama To Many (Tennessee) on 07/25/2023 A few weeks ago, my grandkids came down with strep throat. (Confirmed positive test.) A few days later, one of my sons still at home, and myself began with symptoms as well. My son's tonsils became very angry red and swollen. (I was thankful to not have tonsils! ) Because he needed to be better fast and no contagious, I went ahead and got him on antibiotics. I used vitamin C and Cayenne Pepper gargling for myself. We both got better. Over the weekend, my son's strep returned with a vengeance and his younger brother now had it as well. I certainly did not want to do antibiotics again. I battened down the hatches and began aggressively treating them both… [Continue Reading]( [Apple Cider Vinegar For Headache]( Posted by ItalianGirl (MN) on 07/25/2023 I used ACV for my headache brought on by dehydration. I felt it coming on and it started to get worse. Of course, I went to EC to check out remedies, as I always do. I had no idea that ACV was a remedy for headaches! I took 1 tablespoon of ACV in 1 cup of water. I felt results almost immediately. … [Read More]( [Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda for High Blood Pressure]( Posted by Cynthia (Madison, WI) on 07/23/2023 Having a family history of early death from heart disease and stroke, I was concerned when I began to develop high blood pressure. Just two nights ago, my concern turned to alarm when my systolic blood pressure readings were anywhere from 164 to 192! I came to this site and began reading. I've never liked the taste of apple cider vinegar, but I took 2 tablespoons that night. Later I took my BP and the reading was still the same. [Continue Reading]( [Frankincense Oil for Ganglion Cysts]( Posted by Acoya (Canada) on 07/23/2023 At the beginning pf the year I discovered that I had a Ganglion cyst on the outside of my right ankle. I went to the doctor to get it looked at and they basically said there was nothing that I could do and that it would probably dissolve over the year. They would not drain it for me or do surgery to remove it. I asked if there was any natural way of getting rid of it and I had 2 doctors say no. Fast forward 6 months later, its still there and gets really swollen at the end of the day due me standing on my feet for 8 1/2 hours everyday. [Continue Reading]( [Carditone for High Blood Pressure]( Posted by Deirdre (VA) on 07/23/2023 I am finally weighing in on Carditone for high blood pressure after having a fitness assessment at my new gym 3 weeks ago and discovering my systolic pressure was on the very high end! (165... maybe dropped 10 points when we tried it again an hour later.) I wasn't testing my BP very often but after that, bought a new arm cuff monitor and started taking measurements to make sure it wasn't a one-off reading. I had a wrist monitor and that one is really hit and miss when compared with the arm cuff. .. [Continue Reading]( [Turmeric Helping Brain Fog and Short-Term Memory Loss]( Posted by Raoul (Miami) on 07/22/2023 I've been taking Turmeric to heal brain fog and it is helping me a lot, was having short-term memory problems but now I am going back to my normal self. I am using the formula that contains 100mg of 95% Curcumin with Black Pepper for better absorption… [Source]( [Culinary Argan Oil for Frozen Shoulder and Muscle Spasms]( Posted by Irina (New York, NY) on 07/19/2023 Culinary Argan Oil for frozen shoulder and muscle spasms A few years ago, I suffered from terrible muscle spasms for several months. I started taking 1 teaspoon of culinary argan oil coincidentally during this time and about 2 weeks after taking it, the spasms completely went away. I suggested it to 2 other people I know who also had muscle spasms and after they took argan oil, their symptoms disappeared as well - they both took the recommended 1 tablespoon a day… [Continue Reading]( [Migraines and Alzheimer's Disease]( Posted by Art (California) on 07/19/2023 A friend who I have known for roughly 30 years always has had migraine headaches for as long as I have known her. About two years ago, she started showing symptoms of early onset Alzheimer's Disease (AD), which is advancing very rapidly. I was wondering if migraines might be a forewarning of future AD, and according to the following article, it definitely is with people who regularly have migraine headaches being three times more likely for men and 6 times more likely for women to get AD than non-migraine people… [Continue Reading]( [Re: Treating Cellulitis From Bee Stings]( Posted by Gary (Kitchener On) on 07/19/2023 Hi Jazz A Look on youtube for Barbra O Neil, she is a naturalist from Australia. One of her videos talks about bee stings and any swollen joint to get a small potato and grate on a small cloth and put on area and it will drain out the inflammation. It really works. I have done it. All the best, Gary [Read All Replies]( [Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen, Chondroitin Sulfate for Sciatica]( Posted by Prioris (ME) on 07/16/2023 I had chiropractor tell me my herniated disc could not be cured about 15 years ago. I said F that and searched many years until I hear people were curing their back problems on earth clinic with injectable form of hyaluronic acid. I came across a product manufactured by Biocell. It is a highly absorbed form of HA which also contains a couple other ingredients. I bought the HA brand by Doctors Best. I found that it not only cured herniated or bulging discs but also regenerates the gums in mouth. It takes 6 weeks to heal at most but removes pain within 4 weeks. It should help joints too…. ———————— Posted by Prioris (ME) on 07/16/2023 I left this out of previous post. Just wanted to be complete. I recommend that product for sciatica especially severe sciatica that doesn't heal. Most sciatica is mild and temporary and will heal on its own with rest, especially in younger people. If it doesn't heal in 4 weeks, one needs to bring out the heavy artillery of the supplement. If this doesn't heal the sciatica then one may be in the 10 percent category of other causes. Many You Tube videos recommend physical rehab of various types which is absurd when the supplement can make it so much easier and far less pain. Plus it is not healing the root cause. [Read Thread]( [Milk Kefir Helping Asthma]( Posted by 777gal (New Zealand) on 07/13/2023 I have noticed that since starting milk kefir, my night time asthma has improved. This evening, I was coughing relentlessly and then realised I had forgotten to take my kefir today. Accordingly, I immediately took my kefir, and my coughing eased considerably. Within 5 minutes, my cough was gone. What a miracle! I drink 1 cup unsweetened milk kefir per day.  [Source]( [Re: Turpentine or Kerosene for Snake Bites]( Posted by Shanel (Lutz, FL) on 07/09/2023 I was 10 years old and was bitten by a moccasin in my front yard. My mother took a small bottle of turpentine oil and held it upside down over each fang mark for 60 seconds each and kept rotating it until paramedics got there. Sitting on the kitchen floor, doing as she instructed, I watched a thin cloudy line being drawn back up into the bottle from the opening of the bottle where it covered the fang mark… [Continue Reading]( [Kerosene Saved Cat From Poisonous Snake Bite]( Posted by Rob (Kentucky) on 07/13/2023 Got a good story today... My friend Angie called me around 5pm and said she found her cat "toastie" laying by the back door unresponsive with her mouth open and tongue hanging out. She saw dried blood coming out of puncher marks on her skin. My best guess was the cat got bit by a poisonous snake… [Continue Reading]( [Chanca Piedra for Kidney Stones]( Posted by MollyInTexas (Central Texas) on 07/11/2023 Jackie, I formerly had problems with kidney stones, mostly from eating foods containing oxalates, like spinach, peppers, beets, and potatoes. I searched for a natural remedy and read about Chanca Piedra, Spanish for Break Stone. The English call it Royal Breakstone. I ordered Chanca Piedra from Swanson Vitamins and took it as soon as I felt a stabbing pain in my middle back on one side. I would take two capsules and never suffered again from the agony of kidney stones. My daughter recently was taken to the Urgent Care clinic by her husband due to severe pain in her lower abdomen radiating around to her back… [Continue Reading]( [Olive Oil Massage for Wrinkles Has Worked For 40+ Years]( Posted by Cheryl (Highland Park, NJ) on 07/08/2023 …  Let me share with you a blend that I've used since my 30's that I believe has helped keep the wrinkles on my face at bay into my 70's: Into 2 ounces of rose water, add 3 ounces of organic peanut oil, 3 ounces of organic olive oil and a tablespoon of liquid lanolin. Older skin would appreciate an ounce of wheat germ oil as an anti-aging assist. Dryer or more sensitive skin would like an ounce of sweet almond. There's 8+ ounces of facial bliss that help to restore the vitality of the skin and help you rub out the wrinkles. (P.S., Why the peanut oil? Good question. Peanut oil is a food for connective tissue, most of which we think of as around the joints. But remember the fascia, the thin connective layer between the skin and the muscles. This layer helps maintain the lift and tightness of the skin, along with the muscle tone. This blend is also perfect as a full body massage oil, with the peanut assisting other joints in some degree of arthritis prevention, according to the Edgar Cayce readings from which I've adapted this formula.) [Continue Reading]( [Castor Oil for a Chalazion]( Posted by Claire (Michigan, USA) on 07/08/2023 Castor Oil for Chalazion +1 on the Castor Oil! I tried it based on the recommendations here. I put one drop directly on the nasty little lump and it loosened and drained that night. (I must say that the draining was a little gross looking) [Source]( [Massage for Thinning Hair, Balding]( Posted by Cheryl (Highland Park, NJ) on 07/06/2023 What is the first thing men and women do when they notice their hair is starting to thin? They start treating it like fragile glass. This is the worst thing to do, as it escalates the problem. See, thinning or receding hair means that the roots are not getting enough circulation for blood nutrients to keep them fed, healthy and producing nice, strong follicles… [Continue Reading]( [Just A Few Drops of 3% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide Helpful!]( Posted by Jess (Phoenix) on 07/03/2023 I've been using 3 drops of 35% H2O2 in 1 liter of water (I drink about 2 liters p/day) for over a month now. Great results! More energy, skin looking even better (but I do eat lots of good fats > olive oil, coconut) and energy...also the temps here in the beautiful Sonoran desert are pretty extreme, yet I'm seemingly not bothered by them > this due to the oxygenated water regulating body temperature! (I've also been able to notch up my AC - remarkable.) I love that regaining health doesn't have to be complicated :) Cheers~ [Source]( [Share Your Feedback!]( Copyright (C) 2023 Earth Clinic, LLC.
