Same thing). They didn't work very well. Plastic is the only thing used these days. As a Respiratory Therapist of 30 years, I have never had a patient be allergic to the plastic used (not saying you aren't, just saying I've never seen it). If you're going to nebulize anything and want it to work make sure you use a mouthpiece and NOT a mask. Even with a mouthpiece you'll get, at best, about 10% of the nebulized solution. With a mask, you'll get NONE. Remember--your nose is a filter--breathe through your MOUTH only. Best of luck.
